She listenes carefully and make me feel understood without any judgment. I always felt comfortable opening up during sessions.

My name is Adriana Cisterna. and I had the worst experiencia with Dr. Ternamian. I suffered for 5…read moreyrs of uterus fibroids. One of THEM was 10 cm. Big. I was in pain. He made me get the embolization and to me ...did not work. He was pleased because the size of the fibroids decreased. I kept telling him that I wanted my uterus to be removed. I know my body and I knew I was getting worse by the years. In 2023 I started to have a yellow vaginal discharge (big one) and also lot of bleeding. I went to see him again because of all this discharging and pain. He did a PAP and it hurt like hell!!!. I was feeling dizzy, headaches, super tired and vomiting. I told him all that. He did nothing. I got a phone call saying that Papanicolaou was ok.!!!. I went away 3 months later and ended up in a hospital (in Argentina) within a week of my arrival. I had a big infection. Huge. Fever. You mame it. The next day I was having my uterus, ovarious and fallopian removed. I was told how dangerous was my situation and could not believe it. Thanks God I found a great Dr in Argentina that saved me.

The patients that have gone in so far do not seem to have 30-45 minute appointments, even though all the patients that have come in since I've been here have been booked for 15 minute intervals. I'm assuming I'll get in after 3:00. The receptionist is not even a little apologetic, acting as if this is to be expected. Patients are coming in a few minutes late and profusely apologizing, not realizing they have not a single reason to. The chairs are back-breakingly uncomfortable and the music is too loud and annoying to even enjoy the book I brought with. Literally, old Avril Lavigne is playing as I write this. Why do YOU have to go and make things so complicated, Dr. Ternamian? Edit: I was put into an examination room at 3:00, but waited in there until roughly 3:30 to see the doctor. After meeting the doctor, I can say that he seemed knowledgeable but that's where the good ends. He did not take the time to look at the referral my doctor had sent and asked me why I was there. I told him that my doctor wanted me to see him and that there should be paperwork explaining. His answer was, "Oh, I know why you're here, I was checked to make sure you knew why you were here." Then he flipped through the papers on his clipboard and read the paper with my doctor's letterhead. There was no warning before speculum use - doesn't bother me personally, but seems like common courtesy to give a heads up before putting something in someone's vagina. After saying everything looked good and normal he gave me a prescription, which I questioned, since he had just told me nothing was wrong. His answer was vague and non-explanatory, and when I tried to get him to elaborate or answer the question a different way his attitude of exasperation intensified and he made me feel like I was being unreasonable. His general demeanor for the whole appointment was short and unpleasant. I realize that my waiting room experience may have skewed the way I interpreted the doctor's character, but he did nothing to redeem the experience as a whole. I left feeling incredibly frustrated with the practice's lack of empathy and angry about the way I had been treated. I will not be going back and I will not be filling that prescription. I am, however, considering keeping my next appointment booked just so that another lady might get in to see the doctor faster with my absence.

Bloor Street: The staff are very nice and helpful. The clinic itself is the size of a dentist room very SMALLLL. This clinic is different as they ALLOW YOU to bring someone in for support while the Mississauga Queensway location DOES NOT. I preferred the does not clinic for that because it is empty , quiet and only people who are getting the procedure/clinic workers are there to aid you. All about preference. This one is so CRAMPED THAT THE ROOM WHERE THEY DO THE ABORTION IS SMALLER THAN MY WALK-IN CLOSET!!!!!! It is way TO SMALL OF A CLINIC. It is quite outdated and tight. But the staff are very kind and helpful. The largest room is the room where the women rest after the vacuum/surgical procedure. This one gave me an anxiety attack after with how tight, small and the amount of people they allow in the waiting room. Mississauga/Queensway: They do not rush you in any way, very large space for the operation/waiting room, it's quiet, very accommodating staff. The only downside I will say is the INTERNAL-ULTRASOUND TECH here is WAYYYY to aggressive with the wand in how deep and strong she inserts it. This ONE DOES FANTASTIC WORK!!!!! *** For Reference I got the procedure in Mississauga in the September of 2018 and the Bloor West Procedure in June 2019.
