This is a great, well-stocked liquor store for a pretty small town. Most of the alcohol sold seems…read moreto be at big-box stores like WalMart and the selection is pretty standard. Lion's has a lot of craft beer and the owners/employees are knowledgeable about flavors, pairings, etc. so you can ask a lot of questions. We called ahead of a trip to a nearby cabin and ordered a keg. They had a bunch of options and they were pretty inexpensive (especially compared to Chicago). The keg had been set aside and was waiting when we arrived. We paid a $50 deposit on the tap and they carried the keg to the car for us. We were able to get ice and cigarettes so we completed our entire shopping trip here. Returning the keg was really easy and we got our deposit back immediately. We were basically in and out of there quickly both times we visited and we were really happy with the service and friendliness of everyone there. We also got to see the owner's lovely boxer dog and she was super cute and loved pets. I always love a good store pet.
