If you want to get as close to the town as possible, then this is the place to park your car in…read morePortofino. It's a lovely - ok a bit expensive - town and well worth a visit.
Prices are on the high side with over 5 Euro an hour. But if you know that in advance - as we did - then there's not reason to get mad. You pay for the location, and that's fair enough.
It's inside a building, so it's covered. But it's quite tight and narrow inside, so be careful when you go around corners. Not every spot will fit your car. Be aware that there is also a sub-level, which many miss (and just keep going up). We had a mid-sized SUV and did ok. I've even seen a Ferrari. So if this guy can do it, you can do as well.
From here it's only a few steps to the town and waterfront. If we're back in Portofino one day, we will park here again. Payment is by cash or credit card.
