While I was doing Estate Planning they made my family (including 2 little ones that showed up to the office) feel like I was part of the Eghrari Law Family. My 18 month old really appreciated the selection of snacks available in the office. I appreciated all the recommendations from Mark and Stephen with my Estate Plan, but the best part of the team was all the supporting roles in the office including: Christine, Peggy, Lourdes, Gianna and especially Julianna. I know I'm probably leaving people out, but everyone in the office was so friendly. Almost everything worked out seamless, but if there were any hiccups along the way the Eghrari Law team fixed them quickly. I was so comfortable (and more importantly, my wife was so comfortable) with this group and so happy that this is the team that I get to continue to work with in the future!

Although John had some questionable reviews, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and we filed our 2022 returns in March of 2023. Then, in the third quarter of 2023, we received a bill from the Department of Taxation stating that our NY State taxes were not filed. We attempted to contact John by phone, text, and email several times to address this matter. Our communication with John could have been better and more professional. Responses mainly included "I'll look into it" or "I'll get back to you". Finally, six months later, we resolved the matter. John opened an inquiry stating that we did fill in time, and the state dismissed part of the penalty. I still had to pay a small fee. I recommend steering clear of this tax consultant.

I am a World Trade Center first responder during the 9/11/2001 attacks on New York City. Unbeknownst to me when I went to workers comp Court I ended up fighting my own lawyer from the New York State Senate, where I worked during and after the attacks at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan. After clearing out a pile that soon became a pit, exposing the basin where the two towers once lived, it was inevitable that I would experience some pretty intense repercussions physically and mentally. Thanks Greg Osborne and this amazing team of lawyers that never gave up! I've gotten to know a few of them on a personal level and I can tell you they're not just amazing professional people, but these are the kind of friends you'd like to have in your corner. Just very sincere kind caring individuals that will not give up they will not let you down I promise you. This is been a long fight for me, and sometimes if ya try real hard "you can't always get what you want, but you get might just get what you need"! Be patient & trust this law firm! I did & am happy that I was not screwed royally by the NY State Insurance Fund, just a lil for a long time. I just told my attorney Greg Osborne settle it and I want to move on with my life after almost 22 years of fighting my own team, that I actually worked with at Ground Zero. Unfortunately politics get involved with everything except this Law Firm which did not allow politics to supersede the law. Trust them you will not be disappointed. Just be patient! Godspeed! SB

I am warning everyone to stay far away from this firm. My fiancé paid over $800 for professional…read moretax preparation, yet when the IRS issued a time-sensitive CP2000 notice due to their filing, this office completely failed us. While Bruce Chan originally handled the file, it was handed off to Joann (who is not a licensed CPA) without a proper transition. This led to staggering negligence and hostility. Joann was incredibly unprofessional, repeatedly yelling at my fiancé over the phone. Most appallingly, when I called to provide information regarding my own taxes, she was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me before I could even ask a follow-up question. No "professional" should ever treat a paying client with such blatant disrespect. The lack of accountability here is stunning. On March 19th, after my fiancé waited over 10 hours for a callback, Bruce finally called at 7:15 PM and was extremely hostile. He actually claimed he was "losing money" on our case--after already accepting our $800 plus payment! He also admitted that Joann is not a CPA, yet she is the one handling sensitive IRS matters and being verbally abusive to clients. Furthermore, they were completely unhelpful in resolving document discrepancies. Rather than professionally guiding us through the IRS requirements, they were dismissive and "dragged their feet," forcing us to handle the IRS response ourselves to meet the March 27th deadline. They do not take their professional responsibilities seriously. Do not trust this firm with your money or your sanity. Picture attached of Joann's unprofessionalism.
