Duveroglu is a must visit location when you are in Ankara. Original location is in Genclik caddesi, but it usually gets crowded there so we visited the Bilkent branch. This branch has modern decoration and ample seating options. Servers greet you as soon as you walk in, and serve you with various mezes including Ezme and tursu. They bring hot icli köfte to the table and it is excellent -- thin outer later and delicious filling. We had Antep lahmacun which was also excellent but we have to come back to try their doner, kebabs and desserts. read more

Although it changed it's character and turned out a bit more "touristic" nowadays, this is a unique sample for tasting great Turkish foods. It is not only kebaps or döner in Turkey.
