It appeared to have a lot of locals having a drink of the 61 beers available. In addition to being a watering whole it has a small museum attached but on this occasion there wasn't time to visit. It closes early in the evening so don't expect a late session. No food being served but rather nice hot chocolate with wiped cream atop. Worth a visit if you are walking the ramparts of the town.

Actually, that was when we paid this place a visit, namely because we had come to see the last post and I wanted to have a drink beforehand, especially at this pub because it was, well, just across the road. I can't comment on the styles of beer since this is a pub in Belgium and there is never a bad Belgium beer (well there is, but they are few and far between, and Stella).

While I'll go back again for the food, and I will, their beer selection is next level along with their knowledge of beer. It's easy to find a place with good beer but to find a place with perfect curation and the knowledge to tell you all about what they have is a rarity. If you like beer and you're not going here you're a bit dim.
