Trident special
Cindy L.

Our waiter is friendly explained the menu. I ordered the seared salmon perfectly cooked. My friend order the trident special MUST have their crab cake. The crab & corn soup was phenomenal. The rib eye was good. Highly recommended.

That's herbed rice that's not a creamy risotto.

This was the former Sullivan cove. I do have hopes for Cypress but there are a few misses. The service was good the ambiance was what was expected nice bar area too. The crab chowder was decent as was the fig salad. My husband got the mahi tacos they were good. The seasoned fries are Meh. We prefer regular fries even boardwalk style the seasoned fries are ok if that's what you like. I ordered the GRILLED PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM (GF & VGN) $24 Herbed risotto, charred tomatoes, asparagus, parsley walnut pesto. @cypress see photos that's not risotto it was an herbed rice. When I asked the waitstaff did they not have risotto ? She responded " that's risotto . Risotto is rice." No that's wrong. risotto is a creamy Arborio rice. This was so misleading and it was dry and off tasting. Please cypress fix the glitches. I really want this place to make it. We will go back and give it another try. The wine list is decent but the whole bottle wines are better choices that the by the glass doesn't offer.

Store front

Our waitress was Hayley. She recommend chicken prosciutto with apples, honey, arugula with garlic aioli. Sides we had were fries and tomato risotto. Appetizer was steak bites with horseradish sauce and goat cheese with balsamic on crostini. Every bite was amazing!!! They switch out their menus seasonally and the manager Joshua was so warm and friendly. We will be returning!!!

Caprese pizza
Amanda A.

I ordered the Caprese pizza which said nothing of balsamic and i hate balsamic so I would have said NO! See my photo of the menu...? Also my pizza tasted like a warmed up lunchable. I try to give benefit of the doubt but I just can't here. We were in a rush to pick up kids so i just ate it. My wife ordered the scallops and the polenta and spinach were cold. Again it was a rush so we ate and moved on. We ordered alcoholic drinks and never offered water - no bueno also! Reason for stars is service was good.

Overpriced, mediocre food and the menu is all over the place. This restaurant has an identity crisis.

If you walked in blind, you honestly wouldn't even guess they specialize in seafood -- that's how clean and fresh the environment felt. Major points for that alone. Now let's get into the food. I started with the cream of crab soup. The portion was solid and there were huge chunks of crab throughout, which I definitely appreciated. However, the base itself just wasn't to my liking. The crab was there, but the flavor profile didn't quite hit for me. For my entrée, I ordered the oyster platter with two sides -- regular fries and coleslaw -- and added a shrimp basket because when you're at a seafood spot, you might as well go all in. The meal definitely satisfied my hunger, but if I'm being honest, it tasted more boxed and frozen than freshly battered. That homemade, crispy, just-dropped-in-the-fryer feel wasn't quite there. On the bright side, the fries were good -- hot, crisp, and dependable. The coleslaw was exactly how I like it: balanced, not too sweet, not too heavy on the mayo. Where they truly shine is customer service. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful throughout the visit. Service can make or break a dining experience, and they definitely delivered on that front. Overall, while this visit didn't completely wow me food-wise, the cleanliness and service alone are enough for me to give them another shot. I'll be back to try something different and will happily update my review. Stay tuned.

There is a two part type of deal, right in the front with all the seafood you can order fresh seafood steamed to order. Around the corner they sell various hot foods and sides as well as a couple of desserts. I tried menu items from both sides as I was curious about their cold side items. The fresh seafood is priced very reasonably and everything is super fresh, you can tell. They have a self serve station with condiments and all sorts of things you can add. I would recommend making your "sauce" before you get all your food for the smoothest eating process. They also offer a couple of alcoholic beverages and coke products. There is indoor seating that is bench style. I really enjoyed the Maryland decorations around. Overall this is a great place to take any seafood lover and I definitely recommend trying out both food sections. My next visit I'm definitely trying out their crab cake, it looked amazing!

I have not had a meal at Two Rivers steakhouse in probably a year and a half. My wife and I used to…read morego there often when they first opened. But honestly, we thought it became too expensive over the years (maybe I'm just getting old). With that said, I sat at the bar (service was excellent), and ordered the 16 ounce prime rib, $55, with a Caesar salad and sweet potato, and mozzarella cheese sticks to start (~$10). I ordered a tea to drink, but requested a beer (~$8)with the steak. Total bill was ~$80. The prime rib was ordered and delivered medium rare, and was by far one of the best steaks I've had in probably three years. It honestly could've been cut with just the fork, no knife required, and was well seasoned. The sweet potato mash was well seasoned, without being over seasoned. And the Caesar salad was super crisp, and I happen to like creamy Caesar dressing. The mozzarella cheese sticks look like they're hand dipped (not sure) and very good. And delivered with extra marinara per request. The bartender even remembered to pour the Sam's seasonal beer (winter something, it was not the typical winter lager which i like as well) when the steak was delivered. I did not have to ask. That was really nice. Also, I did not have to ask for a refill on the tea, it just magically appeared. Plus, the appetizer, the salad, and the steak, we're all delivered at the right timing intervals. I did not feel rushed, nor do I have to wait. So, was it expensive? Maybe a little bit. But the service made up for it, and that's all the difference.

It was nice in the bar area not terribly crazy. Both bartenders were very friendly attentive and helpful. My daughter and I shared a large Lures Caesar which they split for us in the kitchen. I got the grilled Cobia with Rockefeller Risotto.. Delicious but very rich. One thing I especially like is that they have mocktails on the menu. I had one with hibiscus tea and NA sparkling wine. It was very refreshing. I enjoyed it a lot . We will definitely go back again.
