Stretchy Ice Cream and Sand Coffee Truly a hidden gem…read more Damas Booza is a must try The best Ashta ice cream I've had in Miami!! In fact, I don't think I've seen anything like it yet. It is a unique concept with unique flavors that I am very glad I finally got to try. If you don't know, Ashta is an Arabic icecream flavor that is usually topped with (optional) pistachios and Turkish cotton candy (called Ghaz Al Banat) This ice cream is often referred to as stretchy ice cream, hence the term 'Booza' I've been meaning to try Damas Booza and I'm so glad I finally did. We got there when he was still opening up but Wahid was so welcoming and kind. You can tell he's very passionate about his business. Along with the Ashta ice cream, we had some Turkish Sand coffee and Turkish delight bites and biscuit au chocolat bites. Everything was so authentic. Absolutely delicious! There is a seating area outside that lights up and sets a cute vibe at night. I definitely recommend, especially with summer creeping up

Parking is right behind them so you won't have to struggle to find parking. This is not a common type of ice cream to find in the USA so I'm happy that they opened. Don't have a car? You can easily get here via the metro, just get down at the south miami station. Wahid was excellent, provided the best service. Overall I highly recommend you try them!

I was actually in a bit of a rush to get to an event, so I didn't have much time to look around or check out the other flavors, but I'm really glad I grabbed one before leaving. The tres leches donut was so good. It had the perfect level of sweetness and the texture was amazing, soft, light, and really well made. Even though I only had time to try one, it definitely made a great impression. Based on that alone, I'll definitely be coming back when I have more time to explore the other flavors.

I ordered the cinnamon toast iced latte a few weeks back and it was so sweet and strong I had to toss it. I felt brave and decided to return for my favorite donut and as a matcha lover thought I'd try. I was impressed with how dark green it was until I took a sip and felt ghastly ill. I cannot begin to explain what I put into my mouth, no drink or meal I've had has come close to how rotten this tasted. Perhaps they mixed old coffee water to make it or the powder went bad? I was just baffled with how horrible this tasted. I sadly had to spit some out around the corner and felt ill afterwards. Developed a headache from the taste. I don't know what's going on with their drinks but I highly suggest sticking to their donuts.

Ridiculous, but a chance to see what the food is like out. This place came up on my Yelp with great reviews so worthy start. Nice looking poafe inside and out. Easy to find. Greeted as soon as I entered and seated. Decent amount of occupied tables and a steady stream of to go, which is semi-sectioned off from the dining so you aren't interrupted while you eat. Nice touch. I ordered the honey garlic wings and the pineapple fried rice with chicken, steak and shrimp. Minus the pineapple lol both were very good. Well prepared and good flavor. For a drink I ordered Chinese herbal iced tea. Came in a can which surprised me. A bit sweet and a bit grassy lol but good. For the first spot I went to, this place hit the spot. I would definitely recommend trying them.

I know they have their own parking garage, but I normally park on the street. Their menu is really easy to follow, and I love the variety of Asian food that they have. The space is nice and cozy inside and it is always Clean and the staff is always ready to take care of guest.

The night I spent here, however, was not so sweet... I visited the establishment in hopes of a delicious treat and instead left overcharged with freezer burnt scoops and regret. Poor guy serving the scoops was friendly but clearly didn't know math when ringing customers up or how to properly manage his dairy products. From a taste perspective, that ice cream was horrible (odd because it's usually okay here) but food safety wise? Extremely unsafe. You know what they say about thawing food out and then refreezing it in a public establishment? Don't do it. Why? Risks of salmonella, E. coli, and much worse... a soiled palette! Not to mention lawsuits... Also, the sprinkles were improperly stored, they were out of toppings like chocolate syrup, they had no bottled cokes or waters, and the place had a creepy Elmo figurine dangling from the wall like it was his first and last breath on Earth. Don't even get me started on the ant-ridden benches and seatings. Overall, really poor ice cream quality, overcharged by mistake but there's no way this guy didn't know his scoops were freezer-charred. Do not recommend at all unless you want to develop chronic IBS for the first time. 0/10
