Cyclebar studio

I get my best workouts at Cyclebar, especially at this location. The instructors are outstanding, the music goes hard, and the energy from my fellow riders really motivates me to push my limits. I'm a big fan of the leaderboards for a little competition, and the ice-cold towels at the end are the perfect touch. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this is a great place for a fun, challenging workout!

I love this place! I've taken Carly's class twice, and she's energetic and fun! I love that the bikes have screens on them, so you can keep track of your stats and speed during class. I also love that they provide complementary shoes (I always bring my own, but nice to know in case I forget mine!) the facilities are clean, the shower stall is a little small, but it'll get the job done. Everyone who works there has been welcoming and helpful. They show you how to set up your bike if it's your first time. Plus, it's on Class Pass! Whether you're a seasoned rider or looking to try spin for the first time, CycleBar is for you!!

Such a great experience! My friends and I took a Classic class with Joey on a Sunday morning. Surprisingly, parking wasn't terrible, considering the fact that the farmers market was going on. When we walked in, all of the staff was so welcoming! It was a few of our first time at CycleBar and they had a welcome sign right at the front, as well as our names written on the lockers! Upon arrival, we were asked to sign a waiver, provided shoes, and given a quick tour. Once in the cycle room, both Joey and Marc helped us get acquainted with the bikes and what to expect in the class. This was super appreciated! The class was really great! Some of the moves were tough for my uncoordinated self, but I had a great time regardless! It got realll sweaty, real quick. After class, CycleBar provided chilled towels with essential oils -- amazing! Highly recommend!

Total joke of an outfit! Signed up for the first ever class and was looking forward to it. I was sent an email stating to be in studio at least 15 minutes before the start of the class. But class was canceled less than an hour before it was to take place and when I was en route. No text. Just an email. You can imagine my surprise when I arrived to find doors closed, and email sent few minutes before stating class canceled. I will never join this joke of a gym!!!!

My 250th with the fabulous Dina- one of the many great instructors.

I have been a member for a little over 2 years and just absolutely love the place and the people- great community! Took Marc's class this evening- was a killer but freaken amazing! Such a great workout. Thanks Marc and all the instructors and everyone who works there. Just love you guys!

This place is great! I've done 4 rides now! Originally, I booked through class pass just to check it out. I was blown by the experience! The front desk was very helpful. Carly, one of the instructors helped us get situated since we were new. You can check in on the ipads in the lobby and cycling shoes are right underneath. They show you the bathrooms, showers and the lockers. For new riders, you get some extra special attention and they give you a shout out on your locker door. Lockers are free to use. Free water in the back. Everything seemed to be well thought out. They show you the studio where all the bikes are. The lighting is a plus and completely changes the ambience of a "typical workout". The bikes are on a stadium seating style so you're not directly ever behind someone's back at eye level. You can easily see the instructor and everyone in the room through the mirrors up front. I've had Marc, Carly and Audra so far and they have been fantastic. Ive met a few other instructors (Joey is alot of fun!) I've taken classic classes so far which also incorporate the use of the "bar" located in front of your bike. They have a leader board that they will occasionally show just to see where you are. They provide a lot of different classes to include themed rides. And the best part! They give you a cold wet towel of eucalyptus after the ride is done! After every class, I've felt accomplished and uplifted and didn't even feel like it wad a "workout".. thats how much fun it was. Thank you CB Hillcrest for being EPiC!

Love this place and I every much enjoy taking classes with Joey and Cale. Their energy and positivity along with their choice of music makes the class very fun and enjoyable. I challenge myself in their classes more than I do in the other classes I've taken. I'm not sure why, but I think it has to do with the energy they bring. Overall my experience has been wonderful. The studio is clean, organized and staff is very friendly ! I've had questions and they've met me with answers which is very much appreciated. Take a class !!

I took a break to try other studios, but nothing quite compared. When I moved to Downtown San Diego about 3.5 years ago and discovered the North Park studio, I knew I had to give it a shot. I started taking classes again through ClassPass and was immediately reminded why I loved Barre3 so much--the workouts are still challenging, empowering, and incredibly well-rounded. I officially rejoined as a member during a New Year's special in early 2023, and as of today, I've completed 294 classes! What I love most is the variety: Signature for a balanced, full-body burn Strength for more resistance-focused training Mindful Flow when I need a yoga-inspired reset Every instructor is genuinely kind, welcoming, and so good at what they do. Whether you're a first-timer or seasoned regular, you'll feel supported and challenged in the best way. Parking can be a little tricky--you'll need to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood or pay $5 to use the nearby parking structure. Avoid Thursdays if you can, because the Farmer's Market makes parking a bit of a mission. Salina, the owner, is fantastic. She recently acquired the Studio Barre in Mission Hills (soon to be another Barre3!), and I've just switched my membership to that location since it's closer to me and has easier parking--but North Park will always hold a special place in my heart. If you're looking for a consistent, encouraging, and fun workout that meets you where you're at, Barre3 is it. I'm proud to be a part of this community and plan to stick with it for years to come!

The variety of classes are great and offer an opportunity to try strength building, cardio, and yoga. The signature class is one of my favorites, allowing for muscle building and cardio bursts, all while remaining low-impact. After 1+ years of consistent classes, I feel the STRONGEST I've ever felt. I was a regular athlete all through highschool and into college and would deal with frequent injuries. Barre3 is the first time I've felt like I can grow at a sustainable rate without risk of injury. Each class also ends with a breathwork session and this has easily been one of my new favorite routines. I now regularly incorporate breath work into my personal life outside of Barre3 and it's been such a nice mental health technique to keep in my back pocket. However, it's the instructors that are the true standout here. They are all SO welcoming, kind, genuine, and have THE best positive energy. I remember being welcomed and guided through my first class so kindly, and I've watched them all welcome other newbies hundreds of times since. They keep it real and give space to the hard parts of daily life and the outside world; but as soon as everyone crosses into the studio - it's time to let that go and it is SO cathartic. It's impossible to leave this studio without being in a better mood than how you arrived - even on the happy days! We're moving to North County and this Barre3 studio will easily be one of the parts I miss most about North Park! All of the Barre team and all of the regulars are such a happy, joyful part of my day and if you're considering this studio - I hope you'll say yes so that you can have this positivity and strength in your life too!

At the end of that year my hip was dislocated and fractured which created a large imbalance within my body. Although surgery was in conversation I knew a more holistic route to healing after the accident was the path that was right for me. I've done Personal Training sessions and ARP Neuro Therapy with Neely for close to a year. The progress we've made is huge and I'm thankful for her consistent encouragement, mindfulness, adjustments and expertise.
