We have purchased a new Harley from them years ago. We've purchased many parts. While we always…read morethought they were a bit expensive they always treated us fairly and honestly until a couple of weeks ago. We listed our Harley on FB a rep from their establishment called us. They offered my husband a price which was ridiculously low he said no and told her what he would take and ended the conversation. Not more than 5 minutes later she called back to say OK they would give us that and arranged to have the bike picked up, brought to their store to make sure everything was good and to write us the check. All this happened, we were told to drive down there which we did and they tried to low ball us $2000.00. Very poor service came up with ridiculous things that they thought needed to be done. Then when we said we wanted the bike brought back they said they couldn't get to it until the following week! We said absolutely not and thankfully they do have employees that actually care about people and we're able to get it back to us the original day. There is no way we will ever do business with them again or will we ever recommend their business to our biker and other friends.

I'm a littler perplexed with all the good reviews here. My guess is they bought items vs. having…read moreanything repaired. I brought a scooter in for maintenance and to find out what was wrong with it. They (apparently) did an oil change and checked things over and since there seemed to be something wrong with the carb they recommended a cleaning. Ok, fine. Over a week later I called to see if my scooter was done yet and they said "Oh, we're just finishing up on it, it'll be ready tomorrow." And then it wasn't ready "tomorrow". Yet no one ever called me to tell me it wouldn't be ready. Hmm. Finally got it back, they claimed everything was fixed and ready to go. I rode the scooter home and it was having the same acceleration/fuel problems it was having when I took it in. I called them back, dropped it off again and when I said it still wasn't working they claimed "it was working when you left." Um, no. So they sat on it for another while. Again, no calls about it. I call to check on it "Oh, it'll be done in a couple days." Nope, not done in a couple days and again NO CALLS about it. I understand if a job takes longer than expected or if you need more time - no problem - but there should be COMMUNICATION about it to your clients. If I have to be the one to initiate contact EVERY TIME and EVERY TIME they tell me "It's almost done" - I call BS and I am will NOT be happy. In the end the scooter was NOT fixed. They suggested I could buy a new carburator for around $400 but at that point I didn't trust that they knew what they were doing OR that they'd be timely and communicative about it, so I took it else where. I would NOT recommend bringing anything here for repair. Maybe if you just want to buy a cheap scooter its fine, but bring it else where for service.

I stumbled upon this place while shopping for my first scooter. Jake and his partner were super…read morehelpful!! I was a newbie so Jake filled me in on all my options and what kinds of things I should look for when shopping. I went around to a few other shops and did a bunch more research online with my new found education. About 5 days later, I returned to view their current inventory and settled on the one he had picked out as my best option the first time around! Couldn't be happier!! And absolutely NO sales pressure! Jake was super patient answering my million questions and never once did I feel like I was not a valued customer. In my wanderings trying to find the perfect ride, many people online were complaining about the "cheap chinese crap" out there now. Personally, this sounds like the same kind of thing people were saying when Japan started making electronics and look where they ended up. The bottom line to anything you buy is to buy smart. Pay what you can afford. Stick to your budget. Know the features you must have and those on your wish list. And don't let salesman pressure detour you from getting what you need. From personal experience, if you are not a mechanic, when buying something mechanical, know where you can take it if something does go wrong. If you fail to have a plan, you are planning to fail. I did buy an "off brand" scooter. I got a great price for the features and size I purchased. I would have paid 2-5 times the same price to get close to all the features I ended up with if I tried to get even a used Vespa or a Buddy. Those are great scooters but they are expensive! And really, how often can you use them here in MN? I am 100% confident that if something does go wrong, if I can't fix it, Jake and his crew can. They have the parts and the know how to fix the problems many people encounter. And they are super friendly!! If you need new or used and can pay $ or $$$, Minnesota Motorworks is a great place to visit. Shop around before you go so you know what kind of deal you can get elsewhere. How else are you going to know how great their deals are! And the added benefit of having a repair shop can't be beat!

The number of photos and angles of each shot left little room for surprises. We'd wasted plenty of time heading out to look at other trucks where pictures were intentionally deceptive, so, that was refreshing. We did our test drive with a copy of our license. On return, we had a couple of questions about exhaust mods done by the previous owner. There was no attempt to spin answers. We had an open discussion and shared information. We felt we were treated fairly, with no shady business practices. They were neither pushy nor evasive. Ultimately, we left with the truck. Bonus for feeding us monster cookies while the paperwork was being wrapped up.

I'm here to honestly warn you about these guys. I was in contact with Ashlee, I'm not sure which family member she is but she doesn't know anything and refused to tell me why I don't have a title. I contacted the DMV, and they revealed that there was a problem with the title between them and Perfect 10. I tried again to discover what the issue is. Silent. The son, I don't even know his name, is never around and doesn't return calls. The problem is he's the only one that knows anything and he's nowhere to be found. At the end of the day, do not buy cars from ppl with questionable business practices. I got screwed but you don't have to. They don't have anything here that you won't find at another, more reputable dealership. I'm going to the DMV today to talk to the Dealer's division since 2 months wasn't enough time for Perfect 10 to obtain correct and legal documentation. I will update this review when I find out exactly what's going on and exactly how sketchy Perfect 10 auto is.
