I was very pleased with the service, and the turn around time, at this shop. I called a couple of weeks in advance to ensure they would have the parts (rear brake pads for a Victory) on hand when I brought the back in). I dropped the bike off mid-day on a Tuesday and had it back mid-day the next day. Pleasant experience and a great price. Soo here goes I took my 4 wheeler motor down around the 12th of April to cycle solutions. I just got it back the 27th of June. What was only supposed to be a two or maybe three HR job turned into almost 3 months. Originally I was told it Wld take about two to three weeks. I Wld call weekly (sometimes a little later) and was told another day or soo and once they got into working on it Wld be a matter of two to three hrs worth of work. I was told this for merely three months. I understand it may end up calling for an extra bolt or something may or may not have needed to be cleaned but to have my motor for almost three months is unacceptable. I feel bc of the time they had it I was over charge. I feel that I pd for them storing my motor. I don't care what jobs you may have before or after me, what I care bout is what I was told before taken the motor down there. I was repeatedly told the same thing and I was placed on hold and never came back to the phone. I feel it was poor business. The motor is now being put on the body soo it still remains to be seen how well it will run. I DO NOT recommend cycle solutions to anyone if you want your bike back in a timely manner. Very disappointed in the owner and his help..... I will NEVER take anything back to them not even my child's bicycle. read more

I tried to buy tires from Cycle Solutions, but the owner (Jerry) said that he was out of stock, so I called J&P Cycles and had them delivered, then he give me a bunch of crap about "buying internet tires, so he's going to have to put me at the bottom of the list." He also treated me like I was lying about the tires not being in stock. Little does he know, I have been sending everyone I know to this guy for about two years because I wanted him to stay in business! However, I can no longer endorse this business. read more

Jerry is both knowledgeable and friendly, got me in and out in record time. (I was able to walk downtown Gordonsville and take in the sights) It's good to have a solid mechanic and shop so close to Charlottesville. Highly recommended! read more

Ok so I was praying that this would be a shop I could use because of suck horrible experiences I've had at literally most of the shops around my area. This story starts just last week I call about having some tires and tubes installed either on or off the bike the first gentleman I spoke with was totally great said we can help you I say cool I will have the tires by Wednesday next week and I'll call to schedule the appointment. I got the tires and tubes today Wednesday just like I said before, well I call today at about 1230 and spoke to "Jerry" what a delightful human being I say the exact same thing I said last week and shame on me for not saving the name of the first person that's my fault but I'm in a pinch and was excited to get help. Continuing now jerry says and while giggling like I'm stupid that yea right we are too busy to get u in while you wait or otherwise we don't do that and you will have to wait until we have an open spot we are slammed and just as rude as he can be. What I don't understand is why do you act like you are the god of motorcycle repair and laughing like my problem is funny I will make sure every person I know deals with the cycle center in culpeper I call them for the first time and guess what my bike can come in tomorrow and be done tomorrow thanks jerry you lost your shop money and I can guess it's not the first time. Dealt with them twice with regard to my wife's motorcycle. First time they weren't able to diagnose the problem. I figured it out $160 later. The second time they had it for 16 days and when I called to ask about it I was told "We haven't been able to look at it yet, it shouldn't be too long though". I picked the bike up and took it to another place and they had the issue diagnosed within 3 hours of me dropping the bike off. read more
