Cliff was recommended to me by a former co-worker after she heard me complaining about how…read moreexpensive and over-priced H&R Block was. This was our 3rd year using him for our taxes and we love it! He is incredibly knowledgeable and gets you in and out of his office in no time. Not that he rushes- he will sit and talk through anything you have questions about, he just uses your time more effectively by actually doing the long filing process after you leave. He plugs everything in while you wait and lets you know what you are getting back or what you owe, but you don't have to sit in there for an hour while he submits it! Definitely a welcome change from H&R Block. Also, I received a strange letter from the IRS while my husband was deployed this past year inquiring about whether he was deployed in 2008-2009. I showed the letter to Cliff (and it later came out that my husband had not filed his taxes that year which was probably why they were inquiring) and he said he would get it all figured out and taken care of. He also let us know that it was probably too late to get the money we would have received back since it was past the 3 year deadline, but he even offered to look into whether and how deployment time was accounted for in that. He told us that after he figured everything out for us, that he would then go ahead and file it so that we were good to go. Now that is customer service! We were really bummed that next year we would have to file with a new person since we are planning on moving out of the state by the end of this year. But, to our surprise, the receptionist informed us that they have clients all over the world and would be happy to continue doing our taxes long distance for us in the years to come. Well, we would be more than happy to continue our business with them.

Be careful. Pick up the phone and call this guy and he'll launch right into a "life coaching"…read moresession even if all you want to do is ask some basic questions. Be prepared for him to keep you on the phone till you're dying to get off and are even considering hanging up on him just to get rid of him. He demanded that I trust him and reveal some rather personal stuff but all I wanted was to talk about the very basics. He gave me no reason to trust him at all and he didn't seem to understand that you have to earn trust. He has no understanding of the impact of traumatic events. Mostly, I was laughing inside because his attitude was the most negative I've ever seen in a life coach. He projected his negativity onto me, sadly. The tendency to project is rampant in the "help" profession. I kept warning myself during the conversation every time I saw a red flag that told me to get off the phone ASAP. The best thing he said was that I didn't have to take what others say seriously. I agree! At that point, I stopped taking him seriously and just tuned out. It worked! It got him off the phone, thank goodness. Anyone feeling vulnerable due to being at a life crossroads is going to get seriously damaged by this guy. Stay away.

I was struggling to find someone who understood both the 'business' side of Airbnb management and the 'hands-on' side of property maintenance, but they handled both perfectly. They did a full furniture assembly for my new guest room and took care of several home repairs (drywall and fixture updates) that I'd been putting off for months. What really stood out was how professional and fast they were--they treat your property like an investment, not just a job. If you're looking for a reliable handyman or a dedicated short-term rental manager in West Palm or Boynton Beach, do yourself a favor and request a quote from them.
