I like this CVS more than other stores because it is usually stocked with items I need. The staff is friendly but you have to seek them out if you need assistance. The pharmacy is pretty good at responding quickly if you have a question about your prescriptions. My issue with this store is that the prices on the shelves are not what you are charged. You are charged more. when you check out, a salesperson will adjust it but your extra care coupons won't work. read more

This CVS was very neat and clean. Had excellent inventory of products. Saw lots of discounts and deals on huge number of products. The pharmacy was open and no lines. Both register and self checkout kiosks were open. Also saw a fully functional ATM. They got excellent collection of hallmark cards. Only eye soar was some aisles stretched sections of empty shelves. But other than that this it was nice CVS. read more

Went to to grab some open-counter meds. It has all the sections, meds, snacks, gifts etc. well- organized. I was at the self check out kiosk and needed to be checked for age restriction products. It was only 1 person at the front. She had to finish her current transaction then would be able to come over. It took a while. They should have more people on the floor/counter. read more

I've been holding this review back because I don't like giving such negative reviews. Especially to a place I go to often. This CVS has got to be the worst run CVS in the state of NJ! I can't understand why this place can't get its sh*t together? This has nothing to do with post covid changes, and everything to do with having the worst pharmacy run in AMERICA. An average drive thru run for literally just picking up medication... is at least a half an hour, even with no one in front of you! This is the part that always infuriates me! No matter how many times my wife goes or I go to the pharmacy, they can never save our prescription card. It needs to be entered and it holds the line up all the time. Even when they tell me that it's saved. I go back the next time and: "Your total is $85." "Excuse me, is that with my prescription card?" "Let me check... I don't see one on file." (5-7 mins later from them entering it in) "Okay, that will be $5.00" I understand that you can't control everything that happens to you. But I really do feel the amount of people that work in the pharmacy is a joke, especially for how slow it is. I got on line, 1 person in front of me. (THIS IS NOT EXAGGERATED) There was 2-3 people filling medication requests, and 1 lady at the register. There was also someone on the computer. A rush of people come in, and now all hell breaks loose when the woman behind me starts saying, "Why is this taking so long? What are they even doing back there." Relax Dolores, you've been waiting on line for like 5 mins, I've been here for 15! Someone jumps on the second register and now things start flowing again. Until they can't find my prescription! A larger location near the train tracks of Rochelle Park with a drive thru option. While this location can be as quick as a 10 minute transaction, come here on the weekend and you find yourself trapped behind a line of cars with no space to sail through. Younger pharmacist is friendly, fast and very customer oriented. Surprised by the amount of negative reviews of this CVS, I've picked up and dropped off my medication here about 4 separate times and found it to be a easy, straightforward experience. CVS in Rochelle Park are filled with staff that couldn't care less. They get paid by the hour and the less people they help the more money in their pocket and less they have to do. Let's start with the Photo Booth where you're supposed to be able to print out pictures via cell phone none of the USB wires work let's be clear. This is deliberate so you have to download or give them access to your whole phone, which gives them access to all your information. Not just your photos when you ask for help to how to navigate this they pretend not to speak English or they pretend not to hear you.. they're definitely should be put out of order signs on these screens. This is not the first time this has happened. I have witnessed staff arguing in front of customers. Waiting online for 20 to 30 minutes and if you're the last person online, but you've been waiting and the lunch bell rings, they close the pharmacy and leave you waiting another hour after you had already waited on that line. It's a bad policy and everyone who is on that line should've been serviced and people coming in should've been told they have to come back after lunch... the male pharmacist, short hair, shorter stature darker skin is the most unhelpful individual I have ever had the misfortune of meeting again he gets paid by the hour does as little as possible and moves on... however " I think her name is Vivi Giorgio,"the pharmacist with the blonde hair female is the most kind considerate person that works there and she always puts the customers first unfortunately she doesn't work there 24 seven but she is the only reason half of us. Continue to go there.. everyone in the pharmacy department besides, that pharmacist has no patience has inappropriate conversations in front of customers and they all need training and talking to... seriously there are so many jobs out there if you hate your job get a new one! read more

we had a package delivered here! went to pick up the package they couldn't find it ! Received a call package was in the pharmacy, went to pick package up pharmacy is closed!!!!!!!! why wouldn't the front end remove the package from the pharmacy such an inconvenience! Male pharmacist was extremely rude on the phone and not good at his job. You can't be both. He interjected twice "HELLO, CAN YOU HEAR ME, IM ASKING ABOUT (redirect)..." as if the line was breaking up but really it was to cut me off from "wasting" his time explaining the second medication that I needed. That would be fine if not for the fact that he didn't alert me that the second medication wouldn't be available until the second time I called. There is a superstar in Rochelle Park who also works night at Fairlawn 24/7 location and this guy was fun to speak to and never gave me anything but kindness, professionalism and impeccable service. I just started coming to this cvs for my prescription & they not only messed things up numerous times but the customer service is horrible. 4 times in a row I came and had to wait 45 minutes for my pick up, I even tried the drive thru & the same exact experience. The guy with the dredlocks has no clue what he is doing and he was rude, also inside this older woman Marisol G. shouldn't be working there because she is always lost every time I come pick up my meds, it takes her 40 minutes to find my prescriptions then another 10 minutes to ring me up. The Indian girl Amina B is rude and also lies all the time because of these 3 people I am never going back to that place ever again. Pharmacy department is a train wreck! There's not enough people working there and there's always a huge wait, inside and drive thru.

If the previous reviews don't tell you exactly why this establishment is 1.5 stars .... here is another one to add to the list . (Wonder how CVS Corporate feels about this ?) Booked a COVID TEST appointment for my mom & I today . My moms was at 5:10 PM & mine was at 5:20 . My mom pulls her car through the drive through at 5:08 and waits there until 5:18PM until someone administers the test (8 minute delay, no problem!) I pull my car up at 5:20 PM and patiently wait on line . (You can not go in the store to take a covid test !) There was one car in between us . There is one single line for the drive thru . At approximately 5:48 PM . A woman tells me The nurse has left for the day we can't assist you . My reaction to this women " Is this a joke ? I've been on this line for over 20 minutes . I've been here . I came on time . Check the cameras ." She goes there is nothing we can do for you . The nurse has left ! I ask her call the store manager that is what you can do . The manager reiterates the same thing to me and actually goes as far as saying "the reality is you aren't getting a covid test here today . You have to book another appointment . oh , and we can't do that for you either" Either way it is not the customers problem and they don't care either . Amazing to me (sarcasm!) they were running behind , they see a line of cars, you would think they would WAIT because of their delay . You would think because of this line being created that's both for covid tests and standard pharmacy pickup because they are behind ... they would come out and say "hey is anyone else on this line for a covid test?" OR even designate one line for covid tests one line for pharmacy pick up drop off . But no , they don't . The manager looked at me like I had 5 heads when I said that to her . The best thing about all of this is I called at exactly 5:20 of my appointment and it kept ringing and ringing and ringing, no answer. DO NOT GET A COVID TEST HERE . Or honestly , go here at all . You should actually ask to yourselves , " Why would I trust the incompetence of these people over a simple SELF ADMINISTERED COVID TEST with my or my family member's medications ?" read more

They hired an older woman in the pharmacy who used to work at Gallo's drug store. Not only is she RUDE, but she cannot hear. She is so not happy working there and it shows in her demeanor. Please hire some new people to work behind the pharmacy counter. Other issues are that scripts are not ready especially after a doctor calls it in "stat". I had to wait one hour on a slow Monday afternoon for my daughter's script of tamiflu. This after my doctor electronically sent it over at 11:00 am and I didn't leave CVS until 1:00 pm. Unacceptable. This is my usual CVS location and I just have to say that all the workers are extremely rude and unhappy 99% of the time. I came on Christmas Eve with my mom and we were obviously stopping by to get gift cards and I went to ring them up at the register which I did see that self check out doesn't let you use gift cards there. However, I have used them in the past, and I've never had a problem. So as I am about to finish and check out, they needed to be an authorization and a blonde woman who I believe is probably the manager comes over and starts yelling at me that I'm not supposed to do that there and I just got lucky that it allowed me to. So now I have to stand in the line and wait for them to do the exact same thing that I did. What a miserable woman to speak to someone the way she did, especially on a holiday. No problem, I went to another person who was going to check me out, and as I stepped up, he just puts his hand up. Right in my face doesn't say a word, and doesn't say one moment, very weird as if he can't use his words? It's like the CVS is full of people who have no customer service skills. The reason I put two stars is for the older man who helped me and was extremely nice. It's such a shame that the CVS constantly has workers that hate their jobs to the point of being mean to every single customer. Absolute worst pharmacy. I kept returning as it's location was convenient, however, aside from loosing prescriptions, and giving me wrong medications (old prescriptions) when I have gone, they have now sent me home with my child's antibiotic not mixed and once they fixed that, I return and see dosage was incorrect. After many incidents with them, we have finally decided to go elsewhere and never return. read more

I keep coming back to this cvs because it is convenient to stop on my way back from work. It's always well stocked and organized. Unfortunately, they typically have bums hanging out in the parking lot asking for change or asking to hitch rides. It's to bad because the cvs is nice on the inside and I can't expect the cvs staff to do anything about it. So I give them change and rides to wherever they need to go. I must have gone thru a $100 in change and 300 miles in rides already. :) read more

This place is really bad! Made an appt for my daughter who is home quarantined because her roommate at college tested positive. This is the third test that she has had and by far the worst. The appt was for 12:50 and we didn't pull up to the drive thru until 2:15 because the line was so long and each car was taking a minimum of 15-20 mins. Since she had done a drive thru before I couldn't fathom what was taking so long until it was finally our turn. There was zero instruction!! For such an important test you would think they would tell you what to do. This test was the most important one she's taken due to the close proximity she has come in contact so we wanted to make sure it was done to the letter. We kept asking what to do and the woman at the pharmacy gave very little info and kept disappearing so we were waiting every time there was a question how to proceed! They really need to get their act together, rite aid did a much better job! read more

This place neglect its customers---CVS pharmacy at Rochelle Park, NJ. I dropped my prescriptions and they lost it. When I went to pick up my prescription, they told me i had never dropped them there--I gave them time and date for them to check the store's cameras, they wanted me to call my Doctor to fax them a copy of it. It was a nightmare---I would never buy from this pharmacy. Their customer service is the worst--they don't take responsibilities for their mistake and negligence. They gave me such a hard time, the pharmacist is the worst leader there--she got very defensive. I had to call the corporate office in order for them to fix the issue--the corporate office had to call my Doctor's office. I strongly believe they should be more customer oriented, and value them. Simply unprofessional. I was next in line, waiting in line only to purchase one item. The people who were being cashed were friends of the cashier, so she spent an unnecessary amount of time cashing them, then once she was done continued the conversation. Another worker passed by and the cashier said, "I need you to cash the next person, these two (the friends) are taking up my time." I will not be returning to this branch of CVS again. read more

Very Rude Pharmacist that lie to cover their incompetence In January I had to switch from Walgreens who I had been dealing with for a couple of years to CVS and I chose Rochelle Park which was "around the corner" from my home because my insurance chose them as preferred. I have Aetna for my Part D and of course as we all know CVS bought into Aetna so as far as I am concern it is collusion but of course with big shot corporate lawyers they know how to work it. So I sent over my scripts and gave them my info and told them NOT to fill any scripts if and when due I will call when necessary (Doctors have occasion to change dosage and meds) Well I needed my eye drops and I called 5 days before due because they had to order it they did not stock it Imagine a pharmacy and they dont stock an important med but they stock lots of dog food, dog bones, chips oh and lets not forget cigarettes which I think is the most horrible thing in a pharmacy. Anyway 5 days later still no meds called and they gave me a lie about not getting delivery etc and they dont know what the problem is etc etc SO I called and got my insurance involved who contacted them, the company who makes it, the company who delivers it and insurance found them lying through their teeth and we dont know why. So no 2 more days have passed and lo and behold my med pops up. Now in February again I need my med for my nebulizer and again hassle and more lies that I had to get Medicare involved and I then took matters into my own hands and had all meds that would be covered by my insurance to Walgreens (these are tier 3 ones) and left only a few that had to stay with CVS I also contacted CVS corporate headquarters and gave them a huge complaint and names and insurance contacts, medicare etc and was contacted by a big shot man who said he would take care of the situation because evidently they have had other complaints about this pharmacy (but check around no CVS has more than 3 1/2 stars that ought to tell you something.
