Pharmacy staff has always been kind, courteous, and helpful. Most of my struggles are with my insurance company, and today Rodney in the pharmacy made sure I got my prescription filled and covered by my insurance. I am so grateful as this Rx would cause me bad withdrawal symptoms if missed more than a day or two. Thank you! The Good The Bad The Ugly Good: Sometimes roll right in and get what Doc ordered in less than a minute. The Bad: Right now is an older lady manning both lanes, she can't understand even when yelling loudly and saying letters and numbers clearly. She is deaf and guesses birthdays, and names, not even listening. I heard her do this with the customer in the 2nd lane and in front of me, not just myself. She can be either fake friendly or downright rude, either way she makes me feel like I shouldn't even exist. Cashier number #2747843. 2pm 3/11/26, Prescott Valley, Windsong. The Ugly: The 2nd lane should just not be on. Most people hang left, and then someone will cut the whole line to go to the right lane with the vacuum and speaker. People can't understand either party with the speaker and all the good people in the left lane get cut off, and their wait greatly increased. I wish i could give less stars. I was in the area and quite sick last Wednesday. I was able to get 2 prescriptions sent to this CVS since I saw that the pharmacy was open until 10. When I got there at 5:45 staff member in the front of the store told me the pharmacy closed at 5 because they did not have a pharmacist that night. "So can someone get it for me?" "No" "can you get it transferred to another CVS close by?" "No" "If I get it transferred do you know if they will close early?" "No" "Can you get me their phone #?" "No" "Do you have a manger here tonight?" "No" To be fair they said they worked the beauty counter and were out of their depth" So I left, got on the phone with Cigna and got it transferred to Walmart a few minutes away. Once I got to Walmart, they had my meds in hand in 20 min, and were super supportive and caring. If/when my local Rite Aid closes, I will NOT be transferring my business to CVS. read more

We went in there for a few basic essentials, and I also wanted some cough drops, When I went to the cough drops though, I discovered that they were almost completely sold out .Overall, the store selection look nice and they seemed to have a lot of good sales. read more

The pharmacy is always closed! It's 6:30pm on a Saturday and I can't pick up a prescription. This happens so much. It's ridiculous.

Pharmacist needed additional documentation for a prescription and failed to contact the doctor for it, resulting in a lapse in much needed medication. Lilly and the Pharmacy Manager refused to remedy the situation in anyway. They were rude, frequently interrupted me in conversation and blamed my doctor for not knowing exactly what they wanted the script to say. Unbelievable experience. Will never use CVS again anywhere and filed a complaint with the pharmacy board. They are helpful unless it's pain medication, then they treat you differently and make no effort to help the patient. read more

Absolute worst pharmacy chain. Went to pick up my prescription and was told yes this is all that was ordered. Called the doctor to confirm OxyCodon was sent and it was. This pharmacy did not give it to me because they wanted to get it approved by insurance first so that they can make their cut. We have had 2 other experiences like this with them. Two employees greeted me as I walked in the door! Walked around the store to find what I was looking for, 3 employees asked me if I needed help and directed me to the item! An employee even came to help me find the T- Shirts that I wanted! Store was busy with people and clean and organized. T-shirts were $4.99 ea or 3 for $12. Terrible customer service. I called to ask about filling a prescription because I have never done so before. I had a GoodRx card and asked one of the employees and she said that I could bring it in and just get my prescription then. I went to go pick it up and I was told that I should have called. The employees are lazy, rude, and liars about how to get you insurance filled. I do not recommend this CVS for prescriptions. It's a very unwelcoming environment. read more

My boyfriend went to pick up a prescription for my daughter esmeralda. He waited in line. He spelt her name wrong on accident. The pharmacy technician wanted to be little him over it. And talk to him like he was stupid. And because he voiced his opinion on how she shouldn't be treating ppl like that. She wanted to call the cops. Rudest encounter ever. There was No reason for that lady to downgrade a person like that. I work in a rehab and my clients would never treat me like that and I would never treat them like they are less then me. I made a whole yelp account while sitting in the parking lot just to warn people not to come here. I don't even know how to express how bad this place is for filling prescriptions. i am type 1 diabetic and every month when I have to go pick up insulin, they are out of stock, even when you work with them and give them time to fill the order. all you are provided with a staff who couldn't give 2 shits and tell you they are to busy to help you. I was told even though I can see them unpacking my shipment behind the lady. that they can't fill my prescription because the pharmacy is too busy. never come here, for your own sake. read more

Lately this particular CVS has been absolutely atrocious. They tell you that your prescriptions are ready but when you show up to pick them up, they're "in process." There's a particular pharmacist that's mid 40's with salt and pepper hair (can't get a name, he's not wearing a name tag) that probably needs a new job. My wife has been out of one of her meds for 3 days. CVS says it's been in process for 3 days. When we contacted a manager and explained this would likely end in a trip to the E.R., she stated she'd make sure it's filled. I then overheard them talking and his statements were "she can wait until tomorrow, I already told him that." At the point where you've lost compassion for people and your customers, it's probably a good idea to find new work. read more

Today went to get a voucher filled for a new med from Dr's office went to window Ananda was at window and from beginning I felt like I was a bother and she was not helpful at all. There was a problem with the voucher so I got out of line and called number on voucher. They needed info from cvs to get it taken care of and she refused to take call to give them info they need so I put my phone on speaker so I could ask her what they needed. She would not even give pharmacy number or info I needed. I ended up calling Dr's office to work it out. I get it they are busy but don't have an attitude with people. 2 stars because I typically receive good service here. Today I had to walk in because of confusion about a copay, and the woman that helped me was extremely rude and condescending when all I needed was an explanation. After retrieving my prescriptions for me, she handed me my receipt and just tossed them all on the counter and walked away. Treat people better please, it doesn't cost anything to be kind. read more

I called to have a Single prescription transferred to CVS from my normal pharmacy due to insurance reasons and they transferred all of my prescriptions without my approval messing up for filling my prescriptions and limiting when and where my prescriptions can be transferred what a cluster. Only do business with them if you absolutely have to. This was after reiterating to ONLY transfer the SINGLE prescription. read more

Over 1 hour wait to get a flu shot! People were nice but they are chronically understaffed. Heard the loudspeaker keep announcing that their were 5 people on hold. They also don't fill the prescription until you go to pick it up then they tell you to come back in 20 minutes to get it. CVS - you're killing me! I loved you in the recent past, but now I feel betrayed. This review is for the pharmacy. It was the primary reason that I switched from Walgreens. But the CVS pharmacy is a mess. They are always ridiculously understaffed. First, you get a text indicating that your prescription is ready. Multiple texts, over and over. Finally I drag myself in to find that my prescriptions are still "in process" and will be "expedited." What a waste of time. Manager - wake up! And the new people (they have been through many) aren't cutting it. One lady I worked with took 10 minutes to find my prescription and entered a lot of data in the system, all while I stood there. She never made eye contact with me once or apologized for the delay. Regional manager - help your store managers please! read more

Me and my daughter stopped in to Cvs last night because my daughter had an earache and I was worried about her and wanted to get some eardrops. The people in the pharmacy including the pharmacist were not very friendly and very reluctant to help us, finally the pharmacist came over. Then we get to the cashier to pay and she just ignores us as we stand there with my daughter's ear hurting, I asked if I needed to ring the bell and she just looked at me and finished what she was doing and then came over. Even through there were eight employees working the pharmacy and only three customers, their estimate of 30 minutes was off by over an hour. I've never been to a pharmacy because I got great news from a doctor, so when the pharmacy techs are rude on top of slow it certainly adds insult to injury. Window 1 drop off Window 2 collection Had to go to back of line #1 twice, and to back of line #2 three times, due to CVS unable to find faxed prescription. It took me almost 3 hours to get my meds. By this time I was feeling faint and would have loved to have sat down but didn't dare lose my place in line. I understand that more staff is an expense, but why not start a number system so we can at least wait in comfort. Horrible Customer Service- phone calls are seldom answered and when they do answer immediately tell you there is a wait to talk with someone and hang the phone up on you. No chance to even talk. Staff was beyond rude and threatened to share personal information with other customers to keep us from complaining to management when they screwed up a prescription. All we wanted was the mistake to be corrected and they argued for 10 minutes until finally someone with a brain came up and fixed it in under a minute. During this whole Covid-19 I had some AMAZING employees help me out! I couldn't risk going inside the store, so I asked if it was possible for the pharmacist to gather up the vitamins I needed. I spoke to a young lady who wrote and gathered everything, I forgot to get her name. When I came to pick up, Andrew helped cash me out at the drive through. CVS has to be the worst pharmacy ever. Particularly the pharmacy in Prescott Valley. I had 2 prescriptions at a CVS in Tucson which I asked Prescott Valley to transfer and fill. Both had refills and time remaining. They said they required a script for their PV pharmacy and Tucson would not do. We are talking about diabetic test strips and lancets NOT drugs. I called the Tucson pharmacy and asked them to fill my scripts and mail them to me. They refused saying PV was too far away and to call my doctor. Apparently they are OK with ambulance rides to local emergency rooms because I can't perform simple blood testing. What do people do who are traveling? read more
