She told us about goodrx. I found a coupon for $50 for the medication we needed. I thought it was nice of her to tell us about the coupon/discount site. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. It's still pricey since it would only be $5 with our insurance.

I first reached out outside of regular hours, but was promptly called back by a pharmacist. We discussed, I took in my Rx, spoke to the pharmacist a little more, and they took it from there. I was given a price range that varied by almost $400 but, once they talked with my vet, it came in at the low end. I was texted for approval of the price, I approved and they filled it quickly. The process took maybe a week, but understandable with one very busy professional having to talk to another very busy professional and a weekend falling in there. The first compounding pharmacy I spoke with (closer to home) immediately turned me away due to potential shortages on "ingredients."
