I called my insurance and they stated that Walgreens had filed it incorrectly and it had caused it to hold. Insurance removed the hold. Went back to the store (second trip). Stated that they did not have enough of the med to fill it now. too bad so sad. Did not offer to transfer the script or call another store to find supply. Acted as if they could have cared less. Had to contact my provider to have the script sent to another pharmacy. Spent hours dealing with this. No concern that this disabled veteran would not have needed med. What I have found is when I go to order a refill thru their website for any prescription that requires a doctors approval it is not forwarded to the doctor. It sits at Walgreens until you go in person to find out why you have not received it. The thing that is even more frustrating is the pharmacy tech is never the same. I have requested a conversation with the pharmacist and have been blocked each time. I am thankful there are other pharmacy options available.
