They lie about not receiving Dr.'s orders and make up a bunch of excuses when they don't have your script or don't have inventory for refills that they have 30 days to get. Our latest fiasco was a pain medicine that was sent in on Friday and not ready Monday. We were told to come back after 3 on Tuesday only to be told the medicine didn't come in. Christmas is Wednesday and my wife who has a fractured pelvis will be without critical medicine because of the incompetence of this pharmacy. Go anywhere else. We are taking our $thousands in medicine elsewhere. ​

Each time, I question why, and I get the same excuse, which is so sorry, next month. And don't bother calling with a question because they don't answer the phone. If you can get someone at the front of the store, they'll transfer your call and then tell them to answer it. Drive thru closed a lot due to staffing issues. Covid gives everyone an excuse. Hours have been cut for when they're open, but that can change daily. You never know if they're open until you get there because you can't call. Why do we go there? My husband's insurance wants us to use Rite Aid. Guess it's time to change insurances. Just drove the 20 miles to find out they're closed due to maintenance issues!!! This place is worthless.

So went to buy three pills until she could properly fill the refill that's been on the book for the last six months. During the conversation in which she was very rude, I asked her why she didn't have empathy for me and my frustration as a heart patient and the store not refilling my drug on time. She told me point-blank she was not gonna refill my drug. When my husband spoke to her she repeated that she had no empathy at all for any patient ever. Now, unfortunately, I was injured in an accident and I haven't been able to get with the CEO of this company and I haven't been able to file Better Business Bureau Official complaint, but I will be. The pharmacist is white, skinny, looks like a man, claims to be a woman, and extremely rude.. I came looking for help because this store made a problem for me by not doing what they said they would. The pharmacist told me point-blank, no empathy for no one, no patient ever, so be very wary of getting the drugs here. As a matter of fact, they messed up my next two drugs that I had to pick up because I had an accident and I do believe that this was totally on purpose. I called a family who I know are attached to their phones looking for requests. Nobody picked up. I text them, "Nobody picks up their phones ... No Wegmans for you!" My phone then blew up! I came home with fresh pineapple, chocolate chip & double chocolate muffins, AND ultimate chocolate chip cookies. There is so much to see, the variety of products , the freshness of seafood, meat and produce ... I spent two hours making selections. I was in my happy place. The apple doesn't fall from the tree. Stopped at my parents on the way home to share my bounty ... it was childlike wonder as I opened the 3 coolers and we oohed and aahed ... priceless.

My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.
