Joe in the pharmacy went above and beyond to help me fill a prescription. I was driving into town without a needed prescription and called from the road to get a small supply locally. I thought it would be easy (since the prescription was on file with CVS Caremark), but Joe jumped through a LOT of hoops to transfer it over and get it filled (including repeatedly losing contact with me as I drove through no service zones during a thunderstorm), all in the last 45 minutes of his day. Above and beyond service. (And the person who checked me out at the register was very kind and nice as well!)

I have very rarely left a negative review but my experience with a pharmacist at this CVS today…read moredefinitely warrants one. I picked up my prescription, and had a question for the pharmacist. When it was my turn, the pharmacist was so rude in her manner that I actually walked away without asking my question. Customers usually are picking up prescriptions because they are either sick or in pain. At the very least, they deserve professional and courteous treatment. I will be changing my pharmacy location the next time I need a prescription!

When I showed sign board right behind her that says Walmart will exchanges or return within 90 days. She still refuses to exchange my items.

A big Walmart that was out of stock of bikes bigger than 18" (literally empty.. guy in the back…read moresaid check back on the truck delivery tonight). They do have most groceries instock, plenty of paper towels and tissues and some cleaning supplies. People are generally masked but still see people without periodically. Prices are low, though. And they have a large pick up area for orders online.

Pleasantly surprised that there is a CVS presence in Penn Yan where we had recently moved. It's a…read moresmaller layout, but when we needed my husband's BP prescription re-filled, it was nice to have the ease of just heading to a CVS without having to transfer all the info to a different drugstore. Grateful that Penn Yan has a nice balance of small local businesses peppered with a few national chains. Just one more thing that helped as we transitioned to our great new hometown.

I had a strange experience recently. My dog urgently needed a prescription that I had picked up…read morethere before. Before the pharmacy opened, I attempted to reorder but there system did not recognize her birthdate. So, I wanted to leave a message on their automated phone system. Each time I tried the system shut down before I could leave a message. So, I went in to the pharmacy as soon as it opened. I asked to speak to the manager to complain that I hadn't been able to leave a message (which forced me drive in and then wait for the prescription). She was not interested in hearing my complaint so I asked if she would relay it to upper management. At that point she became aggressive and suggested that I choose another pharmacy. She said that she would be happy to transfer my account there. Now, I have been a customer at CVS for many many years but I drove to the nearby Walgreens and was met by a smiling pharmacist who was happy to serve me. Moreover, they have an after hours phone system that accepts messages. Problem solved. And I don't need to experience CVS annoyance with my request.

I was walking through the candy section and had some random man decide that he was just going to follow me through the store, doubt he was even an employee but I truly feared for my life.
