I didn't find much and before coming here. A few allocated bottles at secondary that i could find closer to home (as was expected) and one interesting Nebraska bourbon. But a quick internet search led me here . . . . and it did not disapoint. What an unecpectedly great selection. In fact I stopped by here twice to pick up another bottle i hesitated on the first time. Plus the had a bar area where you could try most of their store picks amongst other harder to find bottles. I ended up purchasing 3 bottles but would have bought more if i hadn't flown here. Next time I drive I'll definately be stopping again.

He has an excellent reputation, and above that is the standard of his character.  Does anyone else remember the time when doctors made house calls? This gentleman, although does not make house calls, is the type of doctor that we used to know.  I brought my husband into see him when he had gotten a piece of metal in his eye, and we had already made a trip to the emergency room in another town, without any real resolution to my husband's dilemma from the prior emergency room visit the prior evening, I called in desperately for help as my husband was in so much pain and Dr. Proffitt was so kind and considerate to understand what my husband was going through, he told me to bring him right in. I gathered all the medications and instructions that we had been given from the previous nights emergency room visit and we promptly went in to Dr. Proffitt, he was very busy but he was able to see my husband and once into our visit he explained what was given to my husband previously, and looked into my husband's eye, then asked if anyone had looked under the eye lid, which we told him "no."  This was where the piece of metal had lodged, the cornea of my husband's eye looked like a windshield that had been hit with gravel due to the irritation from the piece of metal under his eyelid.   This is good information for any doctor to look over and learn from.  Thank you so so much, Dr. Proffitt!  You remind me of our "good old days"  when we turned to our local doctor for help and he was there!

So after we eat we will go get r bags and grab our showers!! Not a waisted stop after all. So food looks good on the menu. I opted for a Denver omelet today and the boy chopped steak a la carte and a built your own salad. They have a paper with a pencil to build your OWN salad!! Kewl. My omelete was really good with red peppers in it instead of green Yumm. AND the cheese was melted on top instead of thrown cold on top( I hate that) waitress was great and chatted us up a bit and coffee always full and the iced tea too!

Unfortunately, the food and desserts were underwhelming and lacked much flavor. We enjoyed the experience and hospitality, but the quality of the food didn't live up to our expectations.
