For work I have traveled to different major cities, and at each city I try and stop by a reef shop before heading home. This is by far one of the best coral & fish stores I have been to! The pricing is VERY good considering the high-end SPS you can get, the zoanthids, LPS, and other corals are all very healthy, all the frags are healed and healthy! The fish are healthy and they often have hard to find fish available. The owner Jeff helped me pack up a cooler to take all of my goodies home with me, I ended up getting a flame wrasse pair, labouti wrasse, inferno anemone and several SPS frags (all amazing colors and thriving in my system). I have since returned 2x and even convinced my wife to drive with me 6 hours to Portland to see this shop since I cannot find any thing to compare in Spokane. The only thing I could wish for would be more online posts, the locals here are spoiled and can go into the shop every week when they get shipments in to cherry pick. Great Service, great livestock, knowledgeable staff, great prices = 5 stars!

Came in for "small business saturday" for some killer deals. Got there shortly after opening and it was super busy. There wasn't any organization for "who got there first" and a girl walked in before me and the guy in front of me and got 2 of the last 4 clownfish. The guy in front of me got the last 2 and had 2 more rainchecked. I had driven up 2 hours specifically for the clowns, so I was a bit disappointed to not be able to get any and didn't plan to drive up again to pick up. The store is small but well stocked. The staff seems knowledgeable and they have a fantastic variety of frags available. Very reasonably priced, and if I am in the area I will for sure be back!

10 gal tank purchased from Cuttlefish and Corals. Not as beautiful as their tanks, but still pretty nice!

Great store. Lots of fun to look through all the tanks to see what new creatures they have. We got a 10 gallon salt water set up and had it delivered. Jeff showed up and set it all up for us and answered all of our questions. When ever I have any questions I can just send him an email and they respond very quickly. Super awesome customer service! And beautiful tanks and fish!

Mike Bennet did such a great job creating a fun learning experience for kids and adults. I love the way each creature is a cartoon character to connect the kids and sea creatures with. The water effect lighting and music throughout created a visual under water experience. The gift shop is super cute with photo Op cutouts for the kids and adults. The staff was super friendly letting us know where to go for lunch and giving locals advice. We truly appreciate his kindness to ensure we continued to have a wonderful experience while in town. This is in the heart of downtown Portland (kitty corner from Pioneer Square) so MAX is probably the easiest but we also found parking garage close by on Alder. There was only one person working there but she was so friendly and we were able to look around while we waited for our turn to go inside. (Side note: love that the decor in the bathroom documents all the planning and construction process of this place!) You get a super well-made adventure book to check off all the sea creatures in the book while learning about them. Our favorites were the sea sheep and the deep sea creatures. What up Blobfish! It only took us about 45 minutes to go through the whole place but they do give you a secret code word for the day so you can come back as many times as you want in a day which is great. We love to see a local artist succeed! Please come support and experience this magical place for yourself!

Caitlyn. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very fun to talk to. This zoo was absolutely incredible. I love that you immediately set off on a winding path through the zoo that takes you past each and every animal without having to stray far from the path. It's truly a gorgeous zoo, with beautiful foliage and incredible habitats. We were able to see every single animal in the collection which made the experience so magical. I think it was absolutely worth the price of admission, even if the zoo is relatively small. We had so much fun and enjoyed every moment.

Well, Auntie follows through and makes dreams come true - even though it was four months later! April was a great month to go to the zoo. It was a sunny day, but we still brought our jackets with us. We paid for parking via QR code, but didn't know how long we'd be there. I think we stayed a little over two hours. Parking was a bit confusing because GPS led us to a back entrance. It was locked... this entrance was for authorized personnel only. We circled around the curvy roads of Washington Park and figured that we should park close to the entrance at Lot C. We walked down some stairs and found the zoo entrance. It was kind of confusing. While I was driving from Seattle, my niece bought tickets online for the 1pm time slot. It worked out fine. The zoo, in general, was clean, organized, and an educational experience! The animals looked happy and the staff were friendly! We bought cute magnets at the Gift Shop! Thanks for a nice adventure!

One of the few remaining locally owned fish shops, so I had to stop by. Read one review saying to…read moreonly go in if the owner is having a good day. I went in anyway to check it out, and instantly felt like I wasn't somewhere I was in someone's home. Not in the good way, like I walked into a strangers house and they didn't want me there. So I continued walking with my son making sure he didn't touch anything. My son found "sleeping" fish in multiple tanks, so we were heading out. But before heading out the door, I figured if I bombarded this owner with questions, he might open up and spill some knowledge. I did so, and we had a brief conversation before parting ways. I'm not going to give a low review just because someone wasn't friendly off the bat. This hobby is slowly dying out and these are the people that hurt because of it. Do yourself a favor, instead of going to a big box store for fish, go to one of these shops. The owners may not be as bubbly as the big box ones, but you'll walk away having learned more about the hobby.
