I walked in and showed her a photo of me with the haircut I needed. 45 minutes into the cut (I had asked for the "pixie-type cut") the young lady kept saying she was sorry, that she was new and slow and I realized I really had no hair left and asked her to stop cutting. She then asked if I wanted it blown out or just to walk out and I said she must have had an idea what she was going to do when she started so please style it out. She turned me away from mirror and began blowing me out. It was a nightmare. I had a wing on one side and no hair anywhere else. I told her it wouldn't do for me. A more senior person came over, sat me back down, wet it and asked me what she could do and I asked her to remove the wing which she did. She ran her hands through my remaining less than 1/2" hair, asked if there was anything else, I said there was no hair left to cut, to which she said to the other girl, "go ahead, giver her her things, there is no charge!" I don't know why but I apologized to the youngster, gave her a $5 tip and said it was a learning experience for both of us. Not good! I have NO hair, truly...less than 1/2" anywhere on my head! Shame on them letting an inexperienced child chop away without supervision. Mind you, when 77-year old folks sit there without glasses on, we are at their mercy. read more
