I came in for a line up and beard trim before an important dinner. Sam told me the history of the shop and why he and his cousin decided to go with the old school look. The shop looks like it's taken straight out of the 1920's or something. Very cool. There's a pool table for people to use while they wait as well as a bunch of magazines. There's also coke products in retro glass bottles too. That adds to the old timey feel of the shop. The line up was straight, and Sam trimmed just enough of my beard to still leave it full without it looking as crazy as when I walked in. I think he did a pretty good job. He used a straight razor for the lines, and I have to say that the warm towel afterward felt amazing! If come here again, and I recommend it to friends.

My first at this place I went for a low-fade haircut and beard trim. And Nick/Nate ended up cutting me so bad that I ended up with a permanent marker close to my sideburns. But I still have them another chance as it was my first time there. After that I got my haircut from everyone else there. So far, I've had the best experience with the owner of the shop (first guy from the left when you enter the shop from front). He is really nice and accommodating. He is experienced and values your opinion in a haircut. NOW, my last time to this place, I gave Nick/Nate another chance and HE COMPLETELY MESSED IT UP. This time I told him not to touch my beard so he doesn't cut me again. I had about 5-6" hair on top and I wanted a low-skinfade pompadour on top. I told him to cut an inch from the front and blend the back. WELL, He ended up chopping off my hair to 1 1/2 inches and told me after my complete haircut - "I'm still confused as to what you want". This was him after I showed him a picture and explained to him in detail what I wanted. I say this as a person who knows more than a little biy about hair and haircuts as I was a college dorm barber for 2 years. My only recommendation to this place will be give Nate/Nick (the fluffy guy) a little bit more experience before he messes up someone elses hair. My only reason for 2 stars would be my extremely bad experience with him.

There were no issues with the fading that Mike gave me and I was very pleased that he got it right the first time. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the workstations they had need to be cleaned - dust and accumulation of what I think is shaving cream, is not appealing. If they can clean it up though, I'll gladly change my rating to 5 stars. I've tried to find a reliable barber in the area that respects appointments and I finally have!

Right off the bat I loved that I could go online and see what appointment times were available at my convenience rather than waiting for them to open. Add to that, it was just as easy to move my appointment when I had a schedule change come up. My son and I arrived for our haircuts a few minutes early and were promptly greeted even though they were not quite ready. A short while later we both took our turns getting done what we needed. Our hair was cut just the way we wanted, shampooed and styled. She did an excellent job and we will most likely return again and again. My only criticism is very small...they went a little heavy on the product they put in my hair. Just not what I was used. Excellent Experience! Definitely Recommend.
