I hired Michael, doing business as Jersey Shore Handy Heroes LLC, for painting, carpet removal,…read morevinyl plank flooring, light fixtures, interior doors, a kitchen fan, and a small shelf installation. We signed a contract on September 16, 2025, paid $10,000 to begin the project, and were told the work would take approximately 7-10 days. In my experience, the project was not completed within that timeframe. After several months, major items remained unfinished, including flooring, doors, closet hardware, and other agreed-upon work. Some painting was incomplete or, in my opinion, poorly finished, and materials and equipment were left behind at the property. We ultimately had to complete or hire others to complete much of the remaining work ourselves, including carpet removal, flooring, electrical work, painting, and door installation. I also incurred additional inconvenience and expense related to storing our belongings while the project remained unfinished. Based on my experience, I would not hire this company again.

I have asked him to do a 4 room job in June without meeting him. Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! What a mess, I had to go a buy large plastic containers of primmer to cover the ugliest rooms you could EVER SEE!! Thank

I had this company to paint my house !! His wife told me he was a good at his job and did…read moreconstruction . Well he couldn't paint my house he missed more than he painted . As he was painting I had to poiont out to him the spots that he missed !!! He tried to put a towel bar up in my bathroom which needed caulking before which he didn't know how to do that. He tried to install Molly Bolts which he didn't know how to do . The towel bar fell down because first of all it wasn't straight and the bolts were not in right !!! I'm old and a female but I could have done a much better job than he did . I would rate him a zero if possible that's how bad of a job he did !! I didn't add that he ruined two very expensive down coats , the sleeves , where he closed the closet door on them .. Also a brand new shower curtain he also close the curtain on the wet paint .. I have seen a positive review about him on here and that was his wife's posting . As far as I'm concerned he doesn't know what he is doing as far as a painter or any type of construction !!!!!
