After explaining where the carpet would go and my preferences for one with no shading, the salesman…read morefound only one that would blend with our tile and said it was "one of their best carpets". After installation it showed every vacuum pass and footprint. Our 10-pound cats leave actual pawprints and furniture, even light chairs, leave permanent indents all the way to the backing. The seaming is poor and in one room the sections do not run the same way due to "a measurement error". Other seaming is not flush. After sending photos, I asked for the sales associate and the manager to observe the properties in person because I was told that "photos can be inaccurate". After six months both have not visited the installation site. My experience was poor sales advise, poor carpet quality, poor installation and poor follow-up. I began the project myself with a sander from a tool rental. Before the floors were ready I began looking for a product to apply and called ACE Flooring for product help. Chuck was able to meet me the same day to look at the floor that I had prepped (I thought I was ready) but far from it. Calling ACE was the best choice I made as he had a fair price with a crew on site to take over and did a fantastic job. I soon realized how passionate the team was about taking 100 plus year old floors and make them look beautiful. We have received so many compliments which made the investment totally worth it. I am sure our resale value if & when we do sell will bring more than the investment plus allowing us to enjoy our home for ourselves for many years to come! Thanks Charles!
