I'd never use them for anything just based on the way they drive. I've unfortunately been behind their trucks 2-3x with them driving 40 mph in 55-60 mph zones. They seem to think they can block traffic for miles while they piddle along at 35 mph. They think they own the highway with their filthy, dirty debris blowing out the truck. It's tiresome. On Tuesday, June 28th at approximately 11:08am directly in front of the entrance of Custom-Crete at 4433 Terry O Lane, Austin, TX 78745 a red Peterbilt truck with Texas plate 1L81256 threw rocks from their unprotected load directly at my car as they drove entirely too fast into the entrance of Custom-Crete. This caused multiple small cracks to my windshield. I immediately pulled into the business and asked the first person I saw where I could speak with a manager. I was pointed to the back where two employees told me to speak with the truck driver. I waited and when the driver was leaving the lot I asked him to roll down his window. As soon as I began explaining what happened he laughed in my face and rolled up the window refusing to even speak with me. From the parking lot I then called the office of Custom-Crete attempting to get an explanation, and was told to come up to the trailer on the upper level. Upon entering I spoke with Jason Lore who said he was the general manager. The ONLY thing they were interested in was deflecting any type of accountability or responsibility. I finally asked Jason Lore, "so you're telling me you're going to do absolutely nothing correct?" to which he answered "exactly". They said all of their drivers are independent contractors and Custom-Crete takes absolutely zero responsibility for the people they hire or work with. I asked for the information of the trucking company so I could contact them myself and Custom-Crete tells me they don't have that information which is at best their employees being incompetent and at worst this is their employee bold face lying. This company likes to post on social media how much they support veterans, but they would not even lift a finger to help this veteran. I'm disgusted by a company treating anyone like this, and doing everything in their power to refuse taking any accountability. The only good out of this is I can share this experience every week with the hundreds of people who attend my customer service class. read more

A truck delivering gravel to Custom-crete cracked my windshield with gravel that was  pouring out of the back of the truck. It was obvious the gate was not properly secured being it was a constant stream of gravel exiting the bottom of the gate. I followed the truck to Custom-crete and the manager there gave me the name and number to a person who they said I needed to contact. I texted that person and told her what happened as well as sent pictures and video of the gravel pouring out of the back of the truck. She said the truck was not theirs but belongs to a company who was delivering gravel to them. She said she would get me the contact information for the company who owned it. It's now been a couple months and I still do not have that contact information despite texting this person several times asking her to send it like she said she would. I can only guess she blocked my number or is just refusing to give me the contact of who owns the trucking company despite her saying she would. It's too bad it had to come to this and I don't like posting negative things but by doing so, maybe someone from Custom-crete will do the right thing and do what they said they would.
