Drove my car in, towed my car out... Jimmy is a despicable human being and scam artist. I had a sub installed about five years ago by an amazing shop in McDonough, but I didn't feel like driving that far, so when it stopped working I stopped by CC on my way to Newnan. The outdated, raggedy shop should've been my first red flag, but I gave it a chance. Jimmy told me it would be $75 to diagnose the issue. An hour later he called and said it would be $125 to fix it. I approved it. When I picked up my car, suddenly the total was $225. I wasn't going to argue over the extra $25, even though I later learned he does that to a lot of people. An hour after leaving, the sub quit again. I took the car back and that's when things went downhill. Jimmy called me because something was wrong with my car. My car wouldn't go into gear. His tech said it was a battery issue and I needed a new battery which I drove to get. Jimmy tried to claim my car already had issues before I brought it in. My car was not drivable. Mind you, I drove it to the shop. I've never had issues with my car. I had to tow it to Honda at my own expense. Honda told me they believed the transmission control module was burnt out from crossed wires. They replaced it and discovered that wasn't the actual issue. The real problem? A fuse had been removed from the fuse panel. Honda called Jimmy for payment. Not only did he refuse, he became combative and insisted he wasn't at fault. Honda confirmed there is no way my car could've driven to his shop without that fuse. I even have recordings of Jimmy and his tech admitting they drove my car from the front of the building to the back of the shop and Jimmy's tech admitted to removing and replacing fuses. Also while my car was stuck there from Saturday to Monday, Jimmy had Maw and Paw Kettyle mechanic shop come over to try to reset the codes. I have a phone recording with Tammy discussing this. When receiving my car back, CC disconnected my sub from under the dash. Just why? So now I'm out: *$225 for the "repair" that didn't fix anything *$210 for Honda to replace the fuse *$550 for a rental car for the week - plus whatever I will have to pay another shop And the biggest red flag I should've caught? While I was sitting in the shop, Jimmy was trash-talking Newnan and making comments about how "white men ain't nothing," followed by, "I have Black friends." I'm in an interracial relationship, so maybe that's why he kept saying it. My husband was annoyed but kept quiet. We weren't trying to have problems in Newnan.. I haven't decided if I should take him to small claims court but I'm seriously thinking about it. It's really the principle for me. Jimmy should not be operating a shop in our beloved town. I was recently at this outstanding establishment with a carplay issue which prevented my being able to access my iPhone on my car radio. The staff spent some time explaining why there wasn't an economical solution to my problem when, lo and behold, there was a very reasonable solution found!! Called the other day to have an old remote start removed due to intermittent crank issues. I was quoted $375-500 over the phone. Pickup day was charged $550, and it looks like I could of done a better job. Pulled all the plugs out of the two boxes and made 5 splices. They didn't even bother to remove the harness for the boxes just left tucked away. Queried him when he came over and said they would "cut it out". But knowing when to cut my losses. I decided more damage could be done to splices and wires, and decided to leave. A couple of bumps down the road, it comes down hanging out again. The guy doesn't seem like an honest guy, and I believe this shows not honest work. I also was left with a dash light on as well. Although the truck starts. Went in to get my hyper flash fixed from installing LED bulbs and after 2 weeks it started flashing fast again. Took my headlight out to see why and he used duck tape instead of connectors, the wire looked like he chewed a small piece where the wire was hardly exposed and wrapped the wire around and and duck taped it to death. Crappy job and very unprofessional. I had to fix it myself correctly. Never go back again. read more

After the Toyota dealership told me my radio needed replaced and they refer out for it, I researched a few places. Michelle S sent me a message saying 50.00 for a diagnostic with Custom Concepts. Being disabled on a fixed income, I went there. They wound up charging me 130.00! When I told him about the 50.00, he said that was a lie! The radio still didn't work. It took a couple of months to get more money saved up. Went back to have it swapped out and again charged over 130.00 And my vent was cracked! He said his guy wouldn't do that. So still no working stereo And now a cracked vent and out money. Definitely Buyer beware. read more

Worst shop in Newnan for replacing radio. Had a very poor experience with the owner jimmy. The shop loots their customers and only focusses on short term gains by doing a pathetically poor job on replacing radios. The shop forgot to starch microphone wire to my replacement radio unit. When I went in again once I realized this, they flately refused me to check the mistake unless I pay a flat $75 additional to the $300 I had already paid. read more

I was not happy. They charged me for a signal processor they didn't install. The amp was put in the open cargo area. It didn't work when I left. Nothing but a loud buzzing noise. I came back twice. It would work for five minutes then cut out. They finally said come back Monday and we will figure it out. Never went back. Monday I took it to 144th Audio in Peachtree City. Night and day difference. They undid everything. Installed new speakers reinstalled amp and there waiting area is amazing. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. read more

I had never heard of this company until today, when I received notice that they filed a fraudulent charge on my credit card. I don't even live anywhere near Georgia, so this was an obvious scam. Fortunately, my bank notified me, declined the charge (which was for over $2600), and cancelled my credit card. I would stay away from these scammers if I were you. read more

THE OWNER IS A CON ARTIST!! Do not come here!! I purchased a Pioneer multimedia receiver, necessary materials, Inc. a steering wheel control harness from Best Buy in Ashley Park. I was originally quoted $175 by one employee, however when I returned the owner quoted it for $225. I asked to have my subwoofer (JL 10W3V3-4) checked and he said it would cost $50. He explained he could have it finished within the day. I also had to get a "bypass" so that was another $50. The total came out to $390. He also explained that my voice coil was out in my subwoofer and there was a "backwards" wire as he put it and it would cost $175, I didnt pay for that service. Over the course of a day I compiled a list of everything wrong since picking up my Jeep. 1) I paid to have the steering wheel controls installed, they did not work. 2) My power mirrors were not working. (The control sits directly underneath the radio) 3) There was and still is a noticeable gap in my dash that was not there previously. 4) Rear speakers were not working properly This next list shows a lack of integrity and discipline including just pure laziness. 1) The materials that were in my tray above the radio were left scattered in my seat. 2) The subwoofer was reinstalled upside down. 3) My air scents were scattered throughout the car. I returned the next day to have him charge me another $175 to have the rear speakers "rewired", another $200 to purchase and install another steering wheel control harness because apparently the sealed bag that was purchased from Best Buy was missing a wire. However, they were the same product by the same manufacturer. I got my Jeep back to have wires shavings everywhere and my microphone was not working. Later that evening I watched YouTube tutorials and did a self diagnostic on my subwoofer. THE ONLY THING WRONG WAS A LOOSE GROUND WIRE. I tightened it to the tub and the subwoofer now works perfectly. Take it for what you will but THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY! Jimmy (owner) learn some integrity and honesty my friend. I have never been cussed out by an owner today. So this was a first. We were told one thing on Tuesday and have it written down for the price of a sub and now they are refusing to uphold their word. I tried to tell the owner that his business is a team and a team has to stand together. We all work a job where we have a team that we stand behind. I would never recommend this shady place for any work to be done. I am so sick by how we were just treated. Outstanding. They saved my behind! I had an appt in Peachtree City at Fritz's, to have a large dvd flip-down installed in my van. This was right before a long vacation, with 6 children. I arrived for my appt at the other establishment, and they did a bait and switch- they had sold my dvd/tv, and tried to install an older unit without streaming capabilities. I was desperate and showed up at Custom to see if they could help. They fit me in the same day, and drove to Marietta to find the perfect tv for us!
