We were very late in checking in, and the owners stayed to welcome me. That really shows they care about their business and they are professional and friendly. If you were going on a fishing expedition, this would be a very good option as it has several amenities: fish freezers, a LARGE outdoor jacuzzi (clean and HOT!), most cabins have kitchens, and it even has a canoe for communal use (they have new lifejackets in variety of sizes.) I didn't bring my computer, but they also have wireless. I brought a DVD, but unfortunately my room didn't have a DVD player. They have satellite cable with flatscreen tvs. My room was small, but the linens were very comfy and the price was very low; I feel I got an excellent value. It looks like they have great options for both small and big parties. A large group could rent a whole house, and they have private, 2-person cabins for those on a quiet getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

The accommodations are very nice and Dave and Katie have added several conveniences, such as Wi-Fi, washer/dryers, BBQ's, a hot tub, and canoe for the lake to name a few. I stayed in the Mallard Cabin which had a small kitchen, living room, bed room and bathroom. It was perfectly sized for a couple or a couple with small children. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable. Alaska Serenity Lodge is conveniently located five minutes from Soldotna and the Kenai River. There was plenty to do in my off time, I was fortunate enough to catch a 100 Halibut during my stay. A friend recommended "The New Englander on the Kenai" We are glad we took his advice. We showed up several hours late and were greeted in the driveway by the hosts, Ron & Kim. They immediately made us feel like very welcomed old friends and made us feel right at home. Ron & Kim are wonderful hard working "salt of the earth" people. Ron is a Chef by trade and Kim knows her way around the kitchen as well. They took great care of us, went way out of their way to accommodate our schedule and needs. Food was great, the place is very quiet and immaculate. The location is right in the Kenai River and is absolutely beautiful. Close to town, the Russian River and the Ocean but feels secluded. Immaculate. Cozy…read more Pure relaxation. These are the terms of use to describe my two night stay in the Kenai Cozy Cabins. If there is something I could wish for, it would be more time in the cabins to relax, unwind, and chill. Here is what is included in your stay: 1. A private bedroom with a queen sized bed and a semi-private loft with a queen (or full) and a twin sized bed. Sheets are super comfortable and there are plenty of layers to keep you as toasty as you need. 2. A pristine bathroom complete with some amazingly soft towels and dispensers of soap and shampoo in the shower. 3. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine. Every cooking tool or small appliance you need. 4. An outdoor fire area complete with chairs and even wood to burn! 5. A grill with grill tools for all your outdoor grilling needs. Did I use the "grill" word enough?? There is a very comfortable chair and couch. There are also stools, a kitchen table with chairs, and a TV with DVD player. Large windows take full advantage of the light and you can park your car right next to the entrance of the cabin. Town is just a few minutes of driving away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

John and Jackie were so friendly and outgoing. They took us horseback riding, offered to take us fishing, and invited us up to their house for coffee and banana bread. We stayed in the larger cabin and we loved it. We had a great view of the horses, had our own outdoor grill, and our own little cabin getaway. We are planning to go back to Alaska next year and will be definitely staying again.
