Today i had my first appointment at this practice and i met with Brandy the PA. She is a fantastic PA, very knowledgeable and caring. I was worried when I walked in the door at 8am that the wait would be long because the waiting room was packed; however, I was called back before I could even finish my paperwork. Good doctors, incompetent staff! I've gone for a test and while there decided to take a flu shot. I've got billed for so many things that my insurance said "One should not be billed for that". After them going back and forth with the insurance for over a year I finally went to to the office and they settled down for the cost of flu shot plus some and closed the account. Today I receive another collection notice from them saying I still owe them. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs (literally and figuratively). The staff and billing are clueless. read more

I have been going to this office for over 5 years. I have had great relationships with the PA's and front office staff. However, Dr. Curtis Page repeatedly ignored current medical best practices every time he dealt with me. He allowed multiple gout flare-ups to go untreated as gout for over 3 years. He thought it was a sprain every single time, even when the x-ray clearly showed arthritis in the joints. He had me discontinue a high-dose anti-depressant without tapering causing multiple personal issues. He then, after having issues for 6 months, admitted I should just restart it. After another 6 months of issues with the medication he then decides to add FOLIC ACID to my treatment because he read a couple good studies about it potentially helping. He did not test my blood to measure my current folic acid levels, and the studies he referenced admitted there was no conclusive evidence that this new $2 per pill prescription would even help with the underlying issues. The study is (Stahl SM, CNS Spectrums 2007;12(10):739-744). When I have done more research into what he is prescribing than he has, he is clearly not fit to practice medicine. At this point in time I am reviewing my medical records with an attorney to determine if charges need to be pressed to help save others from this individual. read more

Every time I come to this office I see a new doctor. Basically, they ask how I am doing, I state fine just there for a refill and they check my blood pressure. It used to be 90.00 for the office visit and 30 for blood work without insurance. When I started going there five years ago this was my bill 120.00. Now that I have insurance for a refill the office visit is 135.00 and the blood work is 780.00. Nothing has changed on my end except a refill now is close to 1000.00 for a how ya doing and a blood test. Out of control! Our medical system is in the dumps and this office is as well. I saw a specialist who told me I needed to a primary ASAP after getting test results. I was only able to meet with the PA never saw the MD. She dismissed the test results the specialist ran and told me that she would check for autoimmune markers that might be indicative of neuropathy. It took almost 3 weeks of calling to get test results back. It wasn't even the PA that called to give me the results. I was told my blood sugar was dangerously low and just to avoid simple sugars. No follow up. This was the complete opposite of a glucose tolerance test in which blood sugar was 181. I will be looking for a practice in which I can see an MD. read more

rude no respect for patient care no referral for anyone to this physician on May 2017 Since the son has joined the practice the care has deteriorated. Not only rushed but inconvenienced to talk to me. During a recent visit to the office to refill my ongoing regular medications. I found the Doctor and the MA to be rude and offensive. I have been in this office for over 3 years and each visit leaves me feeling that there is no individualized care. On this visit my confidentiality rights were violated when the DR determined it was necessary to chastise me for wanting to continue to take my hormone medications. I have been on the same medication that works and allows me to function daily for over 23 years.. He did not feel that the determination to take this medication was my decision and made comments regarding this with other patients and employees in the hallway while holding the door open and using a raised voice. I had a delayed diagnosis for a Parotid Gland Tumor by more that 3 weeks previously. which resulted in a surgery. I determined during this visit that myself nor the rest of my family would be utilizing this office in the future. when I asked for a copy of my personal medical records they wanted to charge me 35 dollars to obtain them. My family and myself have moved to another physician who can respect our care, treatment and personal rights. read more

This office is a joke. Getting in touch with a doctor or even an office staff is beyond difficult. My family and I have chosen Paige Family Practice as our primary care for years and over the years the treatment has gotten worse. The office staff is rude. If I am (un)lucky enough to get to an office personnel on the phone they have an attitude as if they're having a bad day.... Everyday. The nurse practitioner is equally as stuck up and judgmental while diagnosing and treating you. I'm writing this I have been on hold for 10 minutes listening to a recording as I did earlier when I called and the phone rang until disconnected. I'm now on the phone with Lupe who is being completely unapologetic about the fact that Genevieve failed to send in my prescription to my pharmacist yesterday. When I visited my pharmacy today they knew nothing about it. Lupe offered to have someone call about it tomorrow.... That will make it 3 days without my prescription. Lupe continued to repeat herself and put me in yet another 5 minute hold. They advertise "quality care" but what they give you is a dismissive attitude from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. If you don't want to be treated like a number go somewhere else. I will be looking for a new primary care physician... So if you know of any let me know! read more

The doctors and PA's that I have seen have been great... but they're too hard to get to. I was referred to this doctor by my son's father who has been a patient for years. He speaks highly of them and especially working with him as a cash patient and seeing him same day for minor on-the-job injuries. My main purpose in establishing a family doctor was for urgent care, same day, and wellness upkeep. My first time visiting was about in 2012 for an annual wellness exam which is required for premium reduction through my insurance. I had explained when setting up the appointment that this is for wellness only and that I have a Gynocologist for pap smears and what not. I also wanted to take the opportunity to have my blood tested for everything. Since I'm afraid of needles this needed to be done in one 'shot' so to speak. She told me I could come do the bloodwork at anytime. I came in on a convienent Saturday... Advised them the same thing, and they told me I would have to see the doctor before they could draw my blood to do it in 'one shot.' I was suprised that I could take care of this the same day. I met with the PA who asked me if I had any concerns, at that time I had been experiencing some wrist and hand pain and I mentioned it... She suggested wearing a brace while at work. And I advised her of my need for the appointment 'wellness exam.' They came in and did the blood work. Outcome: The wellness exam is supposed to be 100% covered. It was billed as diagnostic due to me mentioning my wrist pain, or so I was told. All of my blood work was billed diagnostic as well. I ended up with a ridiculous bill. I had to make a personal trip to their office after I could not get this resolved via the telephone. In the end, the billing lady told me that she would correct the codes on the blood work but I had not yet had a wellness physical. I in turn, had to pay for the full cost of the exam since I have a high deductable insurance. I then still had to make another appointment satisfy my insurance's premium reduction which seemed to go without issue, my third time in the office aside from the fact that they did try to give me a pap smear and I had to again clarify and my insurance was billed for a urinalysis and I never left a sample... By the way, Saturday appointment mirrored my exam that was covered under wellness which seemed a little worthless. 2013 I went again. I really believed that it was just a billing issue the last time and if I was extremely diligent it would get done correctly. This time I did see Dr Page. I was reluctant to even talk at my appointment as I didn't want the appointment to turn diagnostic on me and not be covered. Dr Page was very understanding and in the course of my exam he noticed I had a dry patch of skin caused by allergies and also symptoms of sinus allergies and wrote me a prescription. Everything was billed as it should be including the blood work. The only complaint I had was I thought the staff upfront seemed a little not together but chalked it up to the changes they were making with the computer system. 2014 I made an appointment for 05/29/14 (today) at 9:30am. I am 27 weeks pregnant. They told me I would have to fast before I came in so they could do the blood work before the appointment. To be honest, I'm not even sure I need blood work done as I've been tested for everything that you can imagine since I became pregnant at my gynecologist but I just went with what she told me on the phone. I made this appointment over a month in advance. I arranged with my employer to take a departure mid-day for the appointment and returning I would make up the time today. It took my 20 minutes to get there and a morning of not eating and being up since 4am. I immediately handed the lady at the front desk my insurance card and approximately 7 minutes after sitting down she called me up. I was suprised that they were moving so quick. Only to be quickly dissapointed when she told me that they had my appointment down for yesterday. "Seriously?" I reply. She said "yes." I specifically had written on my calendar THURSDAY, MAY 29 because it was the earliest I could see Dr Page and now I'm being told it was Wednesday the 28th. I would like to take credit for the error but I actually had written down Thursday, not just placed a memo on the day. Also I never received any phone calls, did they even keep my phone number on file from last year? I silently wonder to myself... The receptionist tells me that they can still see me at 10:30. Thanks, but I'm gainfully employed and I do work the same hours as you. Of my 3, on paper 4, and actual 5 two-feet in the door histories, only one was good. It's sad when you have good providers but the office experience(s) leave a regrettable impression in your mind. PLEASE LEARN FROM THIS... Patient satification will earn you so much more loyalty. I would invest in appointment reminders, post cards, and hire someone who can let you know the results of your bloodwork. read more

I gave this office several opportunities to have a positive experience, but it did not happen. The staff is generally incompetent from the top down. And one always has to wait an excessive amount of time. I have been here three times, I'll start with this last one... 1. I called to see if I could get a hearing test. The front office said they didn't know so they were going to call me back immediately. Near the end of the day, I called back with the same request: a hearing test and referral for a hearing aid. The front office put me on hold and came back to say "Yes, the office does hearing tests". I arrived to my appointment the next week. When I got into the room, the nurse told me the office doesn't do hearing tests!! She asked me what I was looking for: I told her in detail two times where I wanted a referral to. She came back about 10 min later to give me a referral to a different place. Then when I told her again where I wanted the referral to, she said "not to be rude, but I have five patients waiting" and asked me to do the research. Which I had already done and had told her what I needed. I got a bill for them lying to me, not doing what I requested, and taking up my time. They should have paid me for the waste of my time and for being unethical and lying. 2. Prior to this, I had called about another issue and made sure the office staff knew what I was asking, or thought I had. I was very specific. They said there was one doctor who did the procedure. When I got to the appointment, and waited over an hour though I was one of the first appointments, the doctor said they don't do that procedure there and would do a different procedure on my foot, which was not helpful. They had to refer out, which should have been taken care of when I first called in. 3. The first time I went there, the doctor who assisted me diagnosed wrong the issue with my foot. It was easy for me to find online what the issue was, but she couldn't. By the end of our time together, she took me to the pharmacy to get some medicine. She could remember neither my first or last name by that time. I have never before written a review, but I just don't want others to go to this office! Wow these reviews remind me of a bad twitter/facebook feed. Seriously people self diagnosing their own conditions.... if you have multiple personalities you should be talking to a Psychologist. Sadly i have to actually write an review because of these idiots. Lets agree on a couple of points, all doctors off staff are busy when you arrive and medical insurance claims are a nightmare.... good luck not having to fix those yourself. I've used Dr Curtis Page practice for the last 6 years, why? 1) he doesn't request extraneous tests 2) love the relaxed couch environment in his exam rooms 3) this is really important for working folks like me, he has after hours appointments. Seriously someone complained about having appointments during non-business hours? being able to see the doctor or PA after 5pm is outstanding. Those complaining about not being able to get appointments means customers like this place and schedule appointments. 4) granted when i was sick and couldn't wait for an appointment I could still see a PA who did handle my health just like Dr. Page. 5) Most importantly to me he doesn't prescribe meds for the easy route, he asks why? and works on the cause not the symptom. That's why I drive 30 miles and schedule appointments weeks out. Thanks Dr Page for not going the easy route and just prescribing me a bunch of meds and instead asking questions and listening. Dr Curtis page is a good Doctor , Brandy his physician assistant should be a Dr. She is the best PA I have ever dealt with. Yes the office is busy, they are under new management and things seem to be getting better. Looks like the office is getting some order, finally. Dr Curtis Page has a good strong team and they will take care of you in the time of need. The support staff is wonderful, if you need anything you can call CJ or Sarah ( RN ) and they will bend over backwards to get you what you need. I trust my life with Dr Curtis Page read more

My husband went here for care. He had a couple of tests done and they never called him to tell him the results of his tests. Further, they employ their P.A.s in such a manner that some insurance companies treat the P.A.s as out-of-network. It took almost 5 months to get that worked out with our insurance company. If you have time to track them down to get answers and deal with the insurance consequences, then maybe they would be ok for you, but I would not recommend this practice. read more

In December my wife went in to get a prescription filled. We were told it would be about $90. Mind you they didn't even see us and only wrote a prescription for her we were then sent a bill the additional month stating that we owed another About $75. When asked why, in a phone call to them, they stated they don't know how much it is going to be till it has gone through billing and coding. We do not have insurance and pay cash and had cash to pay this upfront. We were not expecting nor would we pay that much to have a doctor simply write a prescription they have previously known the patient to take and never even seen. My wife didn't want to change doctors just yet and so the kids fell ill with hand foot and mouth disease. We went in for a visit and was seen by the doctor and again at the end of the visit we paid the stated $160 we were told we owed and just now got a phone call from an Indian foreigner asking us personal information about our son. We then got to the point that he was a third party wanting us to make the additional $120 payment for our February visit in which the cost was 275 and we only paid 160. Are you joking? Again? We know their answer already and this is unethical and wrong. No test were ran and we were only seen by the doctor long enough for them to look up on the net that the symptoms appeared to be Hand foot and mouth disease. Is it the point they would of normally been paid 275 for such a visit with insurance. There are better places to go and we have been there for $60 office visits to get prescriptions with the doctor spending time with you read more

I was completely impressed. I was a new patient and I had genuine conversations with all of the people I interacted with there. I felt right at home. I have already referred a coworker to this practice. They also had an X-Ray machine and a phlebotomist there so I didn't have to get an order for those, I just had them done right then. read more

called to make an appt for my daughter. i was told there was a hold on the account. after waiting on hold i was told it was for $35 for a missed appointment in 2013. fine, will pay it when we come in for the appt. Oh no, I have to call the collections agency and pay it now. nope, not going to happen. you want the 35 and the money for treating my daughter then book the appt. otherwise we will find a new doctor. i myself have been seeing another dr in gilbert. got tired of never getting to see a real doctor... just a doctor in training. i have read the other reviews about their staff being rude. not sure i would say rude but certainly lacking personalities and smiles. read more
