She went through the steps with our child on what she would be doing during her next visit. Katie also said my child would be in a separate room while getting the filling. Today, my child was in the regular cleaning room and Dr. Curtis (the Dad) came over and started doing to treatment. Mind you, they never told us he was going to do it. My child has never seen Dr. Curtis; only Katie. So he never talks to her, he got up 3 times without saying anything because my child was a littler nervous and the last time he came over to finish meaning he already drilled the hole and he was going to fill it in. She started freaking out and he said "ok that's it. you'll have to go to the hospital to finish and be put to sleep". He gets up and we don't see him again. My child is crying and scared! Then they schedule to finish and he wants to put 2 crowns on her teeth which was going to cost $500. No one ever mentioned that!! So he let my daughter leave with a big hole in her tooth.

I asked not to have him do my work anymore and started seeing Dr. Herring instead. On a visit when I was NOT scheduled to see Dr. Woolfolk, he inserted himself into a discussion inappropriately and aggressively, and yelled at me because I was dissatisfied and upset about his poor work and communication. He also advised us to get work done that I later found out was not required. I highly discourage anyone from selecting Dr. Woolfolk as your dentist. You may have to travel a few extra minutes to find another dental office, but you will be saving yourself a huge headache. (Apparently, Dr. Herring is his father-in-law which may be why they keep him around.)

I think that's the only time a dentist has ever called me at home and left me his personal cell phone number to make sure I'm ok! You just can't get that kind of customer service anywhere else. The only thing I wish was different is that they're not a Delta Dental preferred provider plan, although for major endodontic work (root canals) you actually end up paying 50% no matter which provider you use, so in the grand scheme of things I guess it doesn't matter. Like I said, you just can't get this kind of service anywhere else.

The issue at hand today was an extreme lack of hospitality, customer service, and empathy from the dental hygienist Jean Anne Geroux. She was extremely condescending, passive aggressive, and told me to my face that I "wasted their time" as if I didn't just drive 7 hours to meet with Dr. Herring. The situation was that I came in to get an understanding of how much a procedure would cost, Dr. Herring gave me an answer and also wanted to do x-rays. I refused the x-rays because I already had my answer, and I wasn't 100% sure I was willing to drive back and forth from Texas to Mississippi. Since I wasn't sure, I decided not to have X-rays done until I was positive that I would go through them. I was not rude about it at all but I was met with the most grotesque attitude I have ever come across from a professional. There was absolutely no reason to treat a customer that way just because I refused a service. I'm an adult and I should be able to refuse services I don't want, especially if it's because I'm unsure if I'm going to commit to this procedure. The office manager was nice and spoke to me afterwards. She made the situation slightly better. But rest assured, I will NEVER be back. I was willing to pay this business $13,000+ for dental work. They just lost my money, future referrals, and my respect at the hands of Dental Hygienist Jean Anne Geroux. I would never want to have someone like her represent my business if she behaves this way behind closed doors.
