Bho fa Bhinda Special
Corinne K.

Absolutely delicious food, I asked for a recommendation and got the Bhinda Special. Absolutely immaculate crispy crust, bursting with strong and harmonious flavors, savory, spicy, fresh, and lots of beautiful herbs. Perfect size, I can't usually eat very large portions and the personal pizza I got was perfect for eating half for lunch and taking the other half with me to look forward to for later! The service here is incredible, it was my first time and I didn't quite know how it worked, Julie (sp) helped me and was so kind and even brought me a plate and silverware when she noticed me wasting with some plastic cutlery. That's never happened to me before. What attention to detail, wow! I met Bhinda on my way out and he was very kind as well. It's very clean here with good ambiance and a variety of seating styles for different sizes of parties. I love that there are leftover boxes right next to the napkins and cutlery so that you don't need to ask for one when you decide to take leftovers. This place has been on my list for a long time and I'm kicking myself that I haven't come in sooner. It's a bit far from where I live but it isn't nearly the hassle that going downtown is, and the food is on or above what you'd find there. In love. Curry Pizza is on my short list and I can't wait to come back!

I Still love this place! I love having the option to build my own pizza and also get some side dishes. It's my first time getting the vegetable samosas and it's delicious! Live music every Wednesday between 7pm-9pm! You get a free soft drink for checking in with Yelp.

Wow this place was wonderful! Curry pizza is a fusion between Indian food and pizza and the combo works very well well. The owner, Bhinda, is a personable guy and prides himself in keeping the ingredients in his food fresh and healthy. All the pizzas are made on naan bread and cooked in a huge oven set at 480 degrees! Bhinda doesn't use any butter or oil in his cooking which is almost unheard of in the restaurant industry. I tried the Honey Curry, Butter Curry, Bhinda Special and Glazed. The glazed pizza and Butter Curry were my favorites. I also tried a mango and strawberry Lassi made with homemade yogurt and fresh fruit. I'm obsessed with the mango Lassi it's delicious! Curry pizza was featured on Food Network's Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Guy Fieri came to the West Valley location and loved it! This location is a fast casual type of place and has plenty of seating inside and parking outside.

Great meal Honey Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, cheesy garlic naan. One of the best pizzas I've ever had!

Love Curry Pizza. One of the best things I've ever put in my mouth! So much flavor that works so well together. And just a little bit of heat offset by the sweet. Pizza is my favorite food and the honey curry pizza is the best I've ever had. Pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella on honey curry. 5/5 We also tried the Mango Korma Mozzarella, pineapple, green onions & cilantro on mango korma curry. And it was so good with a Canadian bacon feel and a little spicy. The curry really makes a difference and is so good on pizza. Who would have guessed. 5/5 If you haven't tried it you really should.

Spicy Honey Curry special is the bomb!

So good, and for a first visit I'll definitely be back. Most likely the lehi location since it's closer to home. Very friendly employees and clean welcoming environment.

Notwithstanding the "2019 Best of Utah" award hanging up front, what's holding this back from a 4- or 5-star stop for me is: Crust / dough was flat and overcooked with no appealing texture nor flavor-- like frozen dough that hasn't been proofed enough instead of an admirable thin crust style. Even if they made these pizzas atop naan bread dough it would be a huge step forward in improving. And my chicken was sparse, pre-cooked tough, instead of the velvet softness you would normally find with a curried protein like butter chicken. So go for the extra dollar on $11 Craft-Your-Own and at least you can have more choice of topping variety and volume to offset the quality problems with protein and crust. But love "curry pizza" in concept and overall liked the Indian flavors. Plus an extra kudos for sprinkling fenugreek and masala spices as their own dash of added flavor, vs just cooking them together in the curry sauce, so that the flavor stands out as a better accent.

Dinner at Curry Pizza in West Valley City, Utah was absolutely delicious‼ We had the Veggie Pankora, Chicken Tikka Masala and the Classic Supreme. Everything was beyond amazing. The pizza is exceptional, service was excellent and I can't wait to go back!

What a true gem in Bicknell! We were asked if we'd seen their episode on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives immediately upon entering which was just a little bit strange but quickly realized that they take so much pride in their restaurant and the food they serve. My husband ordered the wings with the butter chicken sauce and loved them! We split the Bhinda Special Pizza and absolutely loved the crispy thin crust, the variety of veggies, and the well balanced sauce that packed a little heat! We ended up taking leftovers and gladly ate them for lunch the next day-while probably not intended to be, this pizza was absolutely amazing cold as well. Don't miss out on this amazing pizza joint that is so affordable for the great quality food they put out-definitely worth your time to stop and a treat for your taste buds!

The restaurant clearly aims for an elevated dining experience, and there's a lot to appreciate in the overall presentation and ambiance. That said, the experience landed more in the "good" than "exceptional" category for us. The dining room was noticeably loud, which made conversation a bit challenging at times. While the food was well presented, the pricing felt a little ambitious relative to the overall quality. Several dishes were extremely heavy on the Parmesan Reggiano--to the point that it overpowered some of the intended flavors rather than complementing them. The service team was kind and well-meaning, though some interactions felt slightly awkward rather than naturally polished. Overall, Matteo delivers a solid dining experience with a lively atmosphere, but at this price point, I was hoping for a bit more refinement and balance. Still a worthwhile visit, especially if you enjoy a vibrant Italian dining scene.

We easily made reservations and found street parking about a block away. We started with some delicious cocktails--the Lady Pleaser and Paper Plane--which were both delicious. We had the bread with whipped cheese and hot honey along with the grilled caesar salad and crudo for appetizers. They were all beautifully presented and delicious but the caesar blew us away and was one of our favorite bites of the night. We got a few more cocktails to enjoy with dinner--the Mezzin' Around and a gin, mint, and lime drink I forgot the name of. We enjoyed both of these as well. For entrees, I got the carbonara and my husband got the squid ink pasta with lobster. I've never seen more beautifully presented pasta dishes in my life. The flavor matched the beauty too--and the portions were good enough to take half home. My husband was incredibly happy with all the lobster in his pasta. We took a raspberry tiramisu home, which was also delicious. The bill came to $208 before tip, which matched the quality of the food and restaurant experience. I'm excited to come back and try other things as I believe the menu changes regularly.

The waiter was very concerned about making sure everyone ordered more when we had already placed our order. The concerning part is when we need more water I did feel like I had an empty glass a few times. I wasn't sure if it was her or another gentleman that was helping us that was supposed to watch that. I could have eaten my weight in meatballs by the time they released me. I did creep out the menu and didn't see meatballs as an option. I have been to other Italian joints that didn't list meatballs on their menu so I was hoping that this was the case. This joint is 10 minutes from the hospital in Sugar House which was nice. It was an easy drive to the venue. We made our way in and was instantly greeted. We got sat away from the door which was nice. It was cold and pouring rain so sitting next to the front door didn't sound fun. We looked over the menu after our server dropped off with our water. Everything on the menu looked delicious! I didn't see meatballs as an option so I wanted to ask my server if it was even an option. My mother in law ordered the rigatini bolognese. I got the salmon without the parmesan risotto subbed for extra veggies. I wanted some meatballs on the side but it wasn't an option. So, I was hoping that my meal was going to be enough food for me. My plate came out looking amazing! My salmon looked perfectly seared. My broccoli rabe and asparagus had beautiful char marks on it. It came with a bright, charred lemon on the side. I added the fresh lemon on my food and a little salt to taste. I was ready to dig in! The brocolli rabe and asparagus were cooked perfectly! They were both charry with a nice bite to it. I took a few bites of my salmon and it was fresh. After a couple bites, I did notice that it was not cooked all the way. With my new kidney, I have to be cautious with undercooked food. I also don't care for rare meat or fish so I would have asked for it to be recooked anyways. I didn't want to waste the veggies so I offered just to take the veggies off my plate and they could just reheat the salmon. They were so kind about it. My server gave me my original side of veggies off my plate. They were preparing a whole new plate of salmon and veggies for me. So while my new plate was being prepared, I polished off the vegetables. My second plate that came out was lovely. The fish was seared nicely again with another helping of vegetables. Again, I topped my food off with the juice from the charred lemon and some salt. I did notice that this second piece of salmon was a bit smaller than my original plate. It was good piece of seared salmon but there wasn't any real seasoning to it besides the lemon juice and salt I added. Overall, dinner was great and the service was nice. I appreciate that the chefs for remaking my plate. The venue is pretty and romantic. My mother in law and I had a great dinner here. The only thing that I would have liked was a little more flavor on my salmon. Other than that, it was a delicious meal that I needed after my long hospital stay.

The inside of the restaurant is well appointed and I think fitting for the cuisine. Not overly decorated but nice vibe for a casual dinner. Food wise I would recommend the spicy Shrimp Scampi - the pasta was said to be house made and it showed. Great chew and a nice compliment to the spicy fresh scampi sauce. Only complaint would be leaving the tails on shrimp - basically have to deconstruct the dish to get them off. This is very common though so not a huge deal. I liked that the entrees come with a house salad to feel like a solid meal. The smokey pineapple cocktail was a little sweet for me but liked that there were some interesting options.
