    Before and After
    Rachel K.

I wanted to give a review for my full Invisalign experience. Side Note:I did not need much work done in my mouth because my teeth weren't very bad. I just had a lot of gaps at the bottom and the top, and I had one tooth in particular was turned out. Dr. Oh first went over the pro's and con's to braces vs. Invisalign. I personally wanted the Invisalign, but the cost is always something you'll need to factor. Cost: My cost was $5,400 for Invisalign-- I believe $4,600 for braces. If you do Invisalign you will have to pay upfront, I paided $1,500. I also make $100 payments a month. I do have insurance it may make a difference for you. First days: In the beginning you feel like you talk with a lisp. That's normal and may take a month to go away, but hang in there, it will. Trays: -You wear a tray for 2 weeks before moving to the next. -You wear them all day 22 hours minimum. (Not wearing trays for 20 sum hours may result in needing more tray or slowing the process down). -Yes, you sleep with them in your mouth. -You don't eat with them--but I drink all cold drink with them, which they might tell you is a no-no. The only thing I won't drink is hot drinks may melt the trays and anything that's red might stain them like cranberry juice. Buttons: Buttons feel weird and defiantly takes getting use to with the trays. They can irritate the inside of your mouth if you keep your tray off too long. Good reminder to put your trays back in. Rubberbands: Rubber bands have been my biggest struggle in this whole process. I've had gotten massive mouth irritations due to the rubber-bands rubbing. I did bring this issue up to them as to which they did switch the bands to non-latex. Great--they did help with the irritants but they break get hour or so, no joke it's frustrating. When I went back the next time I told them I was still having issues, they actually have thick non-latex rubber bands (don't be afraid to speak up and tell them when things are working, most likely your not the first to run across that problem). No one gave me a tip or advice for putting in rubber bands quickly so I came up with my own way--hopefully, this helps. Here a little tip for putting in rubber bands in 5 secs (no need for mirrors): 1. Before you put in the bottom tray in your mouth--place rubber bands on hooks (towards the back of tray). 2. Once rubber bands are in hooks--usually, they'll stay in place but I always pull on the rubber bands in opposite direction when placing trays on bottom teeth. 3. Put in top tray 4. Take the loose part of the rubber band and pull towards front hook--hook band on upper hook (repeat on the other side). You should be good to go in seconds after that. : ) Personal Pro's and Con's of Invisalign: Pro: -People truly don't know you have them on. -You can take them off and see results on a daily basis. -You can get you teeth clean regularly not just at the dentist but you can brush normal. -When you first start wearing tray depending on what you're trying to achieve they may instantly make your teeth look straight and or the gaps look closed. Cons: -When your eating in public it's awkward to remove them in front of everyone--you'll learn to take them off in the bathroom or take them off in the car before you get to your destination. -When you first put them the first couple day your mouth will hurt and don't even think about eating anything that requires hardcore chewing or biting. (Take a Tylenol or something ahead of time it might help). -Once you see results that you're conformable with its harder to want to wear your trays because you like your smile and you want to rock it. (Could be considered a pro). -Rubber bands Okay so I'm done with my Invisalign and to say the least, it's been an experience. At the final stage of my treatment I got rock a metal retainer. At first, when talking it gives you flashbacks of your first day with Invisalign, can't speak clearly (getting use to a foreign thing in your mouth). I had to wear consistently for 3-4 months: Remember every person is different. I knew myself well enough to know I could handle Invisalign and opted for that. To this day, it's been the best decision I've made. It's been years now since I've stop using Invisalign. I had a permeant retainer removed from my bottom teeth and opted for another removable nightly worn retainer. (Retainers cost about $250 give or take with no insurance). Overall, I've had my battles but I would do again exactly if given the choice. This office is very high tech and they seem to always being advancing with technology--getting a retainer this time was just a scan in the mouth (no more drooling on the staff with impressions). I highly recommend this office and the Dr.'s in it.

My family and I have been coming here for many, many years. I got braces from here when I was in middle school. I hated them, of course, but it did got the job done. But when the braces came off, of course, I didn't wear my retainer. So what happened? My teeth shifted. A few years ago, I decided to get Invisalign. I only needed them for a year, and my teeth are back to being perfect! I do prefer Dr. Curry over Dr.Oh just because Dr. Curry has been there since my braces journey started. She is so kind and gentle, which is because of her, I brought my daughter here. Dr. Oh is kind, but he seems to rush up the appointments, and he's just not comforting like Dr. Curry. Also, the staff is always so sweet! I love how professional they all look in their scrubs and how clean and sharp they all look. The actual office is also always clean, organized, and up to date. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking about getting your teeth straight!

For years, I struggled with a weak jaw and stubbornly crooked teeth. Dr. Pair and his team took time to listen to my concerns and provided a solution that worked for me. I have regained confidence back! My jaw is no longer weak, my TMJ has been corrected, and my gums stayed healthy throughout entire process. My stubborn crooked teeth finally aligned. I only wish I had done this sooner! I'm reminded of the kindness, care, and effort the doctor and his team put into my Invisalign treatment. I am forever grateful for the amazing smile they gave me. Thank you, Dr. Pair!! You are THE BEST!!!

It is my greatest pleasure writing this review…read more I was referred to Pair Orthodontics by my oral surgeon in early 2022. From the moment I met Dr. Jason Pair, I knew I was in great hands. See, mine was a very complex case. I had jaw reconstruction surgery due to cancer and was left with a severe underbite, and my remaining teeth shifted lightning-fast with no teeth on my lower left jaw. To have additional surgery and prosthetics, I trusted Dr. Pair's work. Not only did he explain his course of treatment in terms I understood, but he was also one of my greatest advocates when my team of surgeons had varying opinions. Dr. Pair regularly assured me that "he had my back (and teeth)." And he really did! Also, as a woman in her mid-50s, he and his entire office welcomed me with open arms and warmth. Every visit was filled with smiles, laughter, and the sharing of great life stories. For a moment in time (two years, to be exact), I was part of the Pair family, and it felt great! Not only did you feel the staff enjoyed being there and working for Dr. Pair, but they also enjoyed being part of their patient's journey(s). The good vibes from the office were truly palpable. A huge shout out to Vanessa, who compiled records and answered my questions and requests without hesitation. I would recommend Pair Orthodontics every day of the week and twice on Sunday :)

During the appointment, the dental assistant spoke to my children in a raised and condescending tone and was rough while performing a scan, which left my daughter visibly uncomfortable. When I asked that she please be gentle, the interaction became tense and the assistant's focus shifted to repeatedly warning us about a $50 fee next time a bracket comes off, even though the bracket had come off while my daughter was flossing and she was already avoiding restricted foods due to tenderness. I was also uncomfortable with some hygiene practices during the visit, as the assistant's hair repeatedly touched my children's faces and the scanner sleeve was removed before being placed in my child's mouth. In my experience, pediatric dental visits should involve patience, calm communication, and reassurance for children. I have shared these concerns directly with the office and hope they review the situation so families continue to receive the level of care we experienced in the past.

I had a very concerning experience with Dr. Maryamian's office…read more From the beginning, the tone of the consultation felt condescending, and I was surprised by the lack of openness to questions--especially given the seriousness and cost of the proposed treatment. Dr. Maryamian presented several options, with the least expensive being quoted at $8,500. Something did not feel right, so for the first time in my life, I sought a second opinion from another dentist in the area. That decision proved important. The second dentist confirmed that I do not need additional treatments beyond what was initially recommended, and I will now be receiving the same treatment for approximately $4,000--more than 50% less than what Dr. Maryamian's office quoted. In addition, I was the last patient of the day, and when I attempted to ask follow‑up questions about the treatment and cost, the receptionist informed me that she needed to leave to get home to her family, effectively ending the conversation. Given the financial and medical significance of the proposed work, this felt unprofessional and dismissive. I have had the same dentist for most of my life and have never questioned costs related to my dental health. At nearly 50 years old, this experience was a stark reminder that not all dental practices approach care with the same transparency and consideration for a patient's financial circumstances. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to expensive treatment plans from this office.
