Ah, the ambiance! Great cafe in fantastic surroundings. Wander through the garden to the cafe down…read moreon the lake, watch the ducks waddle along, enjoy the birds and just relax. This was one of the first cafes that was recommended to us when we first moved here and we still take our visitors out to enjoy the atmosphere. You can take your dogs and just sit and enjoy the view and good tea and coffee. My Mum is 83 and has dementia, but she always says "we have been here before, I like the cakes" and she does too! Whopping great pieces that they are and Mum never leaves any. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, I love the zucchini balls and the sandwiches are Yummo too. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. May be off the beaten track but well worth it.
