There is a large signpost above the door. There is a window at the front which is semi-opaque. The front of the salon looks a little dated. Parking is available either on the busy road outside or in a residential street opposite. There is also a free carpark behind Tesco's nearby although this will mean a ten minute walk. Margaret's definately caters for the more mature client and there is a sort of social club atmopshere inside. There is often many ladies sitting inside getting their hair done or waiting for a perm to set. This friendly atmosphere is lovely but you need to be over 50 to enjoy it! The staff are skilled at helping the older ladies to achieve a modern, comfortable hair style. They are lovely to talk to and make you feel very welcome and relaxed.

The building is large and situated at the corner of the street. It has a big, shiny sign and the sides of the salon are transparent glass. The salon looks new and has a 'spa' style appearance to it, bedecked with palms and shiny surfaces. It is a relaxing environment and it really looks high-tech too, as if the salon and the staff are at the cutting edge of fashion. The staff are very friendly and chatty and are always immaculate in appearance. They really make you trust them. Prices are competitive. There are a lot of hairdressers in Bedlington and this is one of the best.
