I was told I'd be called right back, but wasn't. Once I did make it to my appointment the staff was oh so friendly while going through xray results and demos of the decompression machine but when it came to speaking with the Financial Administrator, and letting her know I was going to need to "think" on financing a $5,000 treatment plan that insurance does not cover. I then asked for my office visit notes and X-ray results on a disc (which conveniently they couldn't provide at that time) for me to discuss this with a family member who may be willing to help, but I would need to sit down with them first and explain my issue. The X-ray tech explained he would email these items I requested and the Financial Administrator acted as if she still needed to explain something to me so I sat there for 15 minutes in silence before the X-ray tech came back and asked if I needed anything else. I told him well nobody told me I was good to go and she let me sit here for 15 minutes without letting me know I was okay to leave. Mind you I'm sitting across from her at her desk. Coming from a healthcare background I was in utter disbelief at how I was treated so poorly once I turned down financing right then and there. I almost left in tears. Do better at meeting your patients where they are. I was given no other treatment options other than the decompression. I was treated like another number. Very poor service. I will not be back.

A few times a year, it would flare up, and I was in constant shooting pain for anywhere from 4-6 weeks and it never let up. In 2006 we bought a house in Mansfield, and after another round of pain, I decided to try chiropractic. In short, Dr. Bobbitt and his staff fixed me. I just moved to the Arlington area and after sleeping on a floor for multiple nights, unpacking and the stress of moving I needed an adjustment. I had been to a different chiro in the area who left me in more pain than when I arrived so by the time I found Dr. Varvra and went to see her I could hardly walk upright. On my first visit she took the time to get to know me and my history. She asked questions and listened. She used the drop table on me which I prefer and was able to get my lower back into place and by the time I walked out I was upright and no longer had a stabbing pain in my neck! I see Dr. Vavra about every two weeks and she helps me keep my hips aligned, she puts my jaw back into place when my TMJ acts up and my teeth don't sit together and she's got a great technique to take the soreness from my right wrist since I'm on the computer so much!
