Its also a great place to nab souvenirs for tourists like myself. They have a little of everything from coffee mugs, hats, high quality t-shirts, coloring books for kids, stuffed toys, pens, shot glasses, photo keepsake books and much more. I had a good time shopping here and got a small souvenir for my trip. I had already gotten my souvenirs a few years ago but it's always no girl can have too many coffee mugs...I got mine in tie dye silicone....I think their prices are very competitive for the quality of items that they offer. A definite stop for anyone visiting the area...

They feature tons…read moreof home decor items, folk art, and some more traditional art--most of which reflects the homey nature of this community. My personal preference for home decor is more modern; however, if you like traditional decor, you will feel right at home at WIB. The staff at Wrapsody (who I suspect are the owners) are super nice and knowledgeable about their inventory, so hit them up w/ questions if you have any while in the store. These fellows also have a great sense of humor, so you'll be sure to have a chuckle or two as well. As for atmosphere, the store is very homey--in fact, standing outside, I'd guess the store was once someone's showplace home. Inside, the place is spacious and stocked full of inventory... and be sure to check out the upstairs area where they store lots of larger art pieces.

This store certainly has an energy to it, one we unfortunately did not vibe with, so our visit was brief. They cater to the energy-centric folks with shelves filled with stones, incense, crystals and more. Additionally, they do a variety of readings on-site. We made a quick lap through the full store and sadly none of the three associates spoke or acknowledged us at any time. Overall, Silk Road Traveler is not my thing, but I can see it being attractive to others.

I collect art with some pieces $100k+ with some from the baroque era and some that survived the world wars, so I know what I'm talking about. When I went in it was rudeness like they couldn't be bothered. Since I have many collections I started asking questions and the person working said they had no clue nor the did other people... they have zero knowledge of real art, nor do they care if they sale anything, so why even bother to have a place if you have no clue? In the end their art is completely worthless almost like a students art work, its pictures of dogs and bears and nothing of any value. It's more like they went to goodwill or a Ross store.
