    Yay late night coffee!
    Karol C.

Whooo hoooo! Late night espresso fix! Cups stays open til 10 pm on a Saturday night! A treat for this dateless single newcomer to Clinton. Without much to do in this small town on Saturday night, I turned to Yelp for some excitement. I was pleased to find this cute coffee house. Though I got my tasty "brunette" latte and chocolate cake to go, I noticed that there is plenty seating for quiet work time and wifi. I'll go back to hang out. Almond milk is available for those of us whom lactose isn't a friend. There are lots of drink choices to try. #yaycoffee

I love Cups coffee! It's absolutely wonderful! The baristas here are also great! I even pay in cash here just so I have change to put into the tip jar! The atmosphere is adorable -old house tuned coffee shop. What's not to love about this place? ... The price of specialty coffee. But first everything I love about Cups! Going to Cups in the Clinton location is a right of passage if you attend Mississippi College. Everyone knows about the place. Everyone has had at least one "cup". The establishment is tre adorable! Everything here is so eclectic from the furniture to the decor. Each month they even seem to have a theme to their tip jar! I go here to study and get work done at least once a week. It's such a quaint establishment and the campus nearby wouldn't be the same without it! You can even order food here! The chicken salad sandwich is wonderful! They make their own bread fresh everyday, and it's sour dough! YUMMY! But the prices! The prices here are equivalent to that of Starbucks! Yes, it's "specialty" and "local" so I'm willing to pay for it once a week. Yes, they have a loyalty card that kicks back 10% to you. Yes, the customer service is good. However, this is a college town. Students do not have $5 everyday for coffee. Yes, I know it is the blondies and brunettes that will cost a little extra, but this is a college town there are places to get free regular coffee everywhere (i.e. the Healthplex, the apartment complexes, the list goes on). Also, the food is good but is slightly over priced. I want to give Cups a five star rating but they either need to jazz up the decor as there are some cracks in the walls or lower the prices a little. I'm a regular and love Cups, and believe this is one of the places that makes Clinton shine! :D

Love this lil gem! Wish they were in Gluckstadt. We need a coffee shop. The staff is welcoming and the old house it's in is quaint!

A good place to hang out in Olde Town Clinton. Friendly baristas and good product. I like the mocha with coffee ice cubes.

The best coffee shop I have ever been to by far. It's not too bitter but not too sweet. All of the workers are also very nice and friendly.

To be honest, I probably spend more here (on coffee) than I do at Mississippi College (on tuition).

Another customer we spoke too, said the same tning.. if your people dont want to clean off tables, perhaps you should go to paper plates and plastic silverware, and a big garbsge can like at Paneras. Or hire people who are pleasant and want to work. Just a thought

I also saw covered outdoor seating. In fact, there were multiple options for seating. I especially admired the design-flow which allowed the customer line to be separated from the seating areas so that the customers don't have to be in the way of those that are seated. The shop is bright and bright the element of outdoors into the interior in a subtle way with its plants and large windows. I'm such a sucker for pleasant greetings and warm hospitality! "You had me at 'Hello! How are you?'" The world could certainly use more kindness and genuine southern hospitality. Now, here's what really wowed the coffee enthusiast/hobbyist in me! Espresso shots were being pulled meticulously with attention to detail, including the use of a scale, which provides for consistency! The flavorings/syrups were not pumped haphazardly from the familiar brand-name syrup bottles. Rather, for my latte, an in-house syrup was carefully measured for the perfect taste! My delicious, honey-cinnamon latte was made with care, attention to detail, quality ingredients, and finesse! Loved it! If I'm ever in Jackson, this will definitely be my go-to spot!

I did not pack it with me so I have been going without it. I can definitely feel a difference with the energy level and it just feels good especially with the amount of deep fried food I have been eating while in Vicksburg.
