It's funny because you can tell he is this really smart guy but when he found out I am obsessed with the Bachelor he was right there able to have that convo with me too. I had cancer years ago. The morning she got the notification from radiologist that read the mammogram, she left me voicemail. By the time I called her back, she had already scheduled an appointment for me with the surgeon the next day. The surgeon and the oncologist she referred me to were also exceptional. Within 10 days I had two surgeries and was on my way to post op radiation. I've never heard of a quicker response. Same when my eye was cut by a cactus. Miki is very kind, patient, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Side note: Miki is the kind of girl in high school, your guy friends would think are in love with them. Not the case! Moving on, I was basically on a seafood diet (I see food, I eat it) Miki said my diet needed to change as well as implementing exercise, etc. Miki gave me a nice brochure, which shows me the foods to avoid and the foods I needed to eat regularly. She answered all my silly questions. Miki also gave me Mounjaro / Zepbound. This was great! I've tried other things like intermittent fasting, starvation etc. nothing worked. I was always failing miserably. 11 weeks later & 39 lbs lighter and weighing in at 218, I was very pleased. 30 lbs to go! However you know what you do get? A doctor that actually cares, actually listens and gives real feedback when you do see him. I've been ignored by the staff, been made to wait an hour beyond my appointment, but you know what that's completely fine because the medical advice and care I'm looking for I get it here in one shot. You don't get dismissed or rushed out you get a doctor that actually takes the time to hear you out, ask the right questions and gives you real medicine even if that's some advice. There is a real reason there's a wait and a line out the door and the staff might ignore you and that's because he's super busy. If you can set aside those frustrations and annoyances, you'll find yourself being well taken care of.

I have been a patient for Dr John Wang in Fountain Valley, CA for close to 20 years and have…read morefollowed him though several office changes over this time. However, since he has joined Memorial Health Care all things have gone for the worst... You now can't call his office directly and you have to go through the terrible Memorial Care screening system first. Yesterday that took me 3 hours of wasted time where I never even got the doctor's office on the phone. I am covered by Medicare plus I have a costly PPO supplement policy and I never requested to be with Memorial Care so I definitely don't want to be treated like I am with an HMO. Very frightening!! Last week due to communication problems between the doctors offices within the Memorial Care system, I almost missed a needed medical procedure due to their negligence... If that wasn't bad enough those I spoke to within Memorial Care didn't even care as if I was wasting their personal time which is horrific!!! Memorial Care makes you go through their Patient Navigators- I wouldn't trust them to navigate me to the Bathroom. THEY ARE THE WORST!! Due to these issues, I have requested for my complete records file so that I can bring these records to a new doctor and Dr Wang's office wouldn't get my records for me!!!!!!!!! I don't understand why they couldn't do this since that is a requirement of all doctor's to do when requested by a patient. I can only recommend for others to stay as far away as possible from Memorial Health Care or Dr John Wang unless you may want to be treated as I have been. I wish I was exaggerating, but I have the screenshots of my call logs to prove it. To make matters worse, there is no option to schedule appointments online. On the rare chance you finally get a live person on the phone, they constantly hang up on you. This isn't a one-time issue; it happens over and over again. It's a real shame because the doctors here are actually very good--it's just too bad you can't ever get an appointment to see them. Edinger desperately needs a new call center. I'm already switching my insurance because I can't deal with this anymore.
