City Everett Convenience is located on the corner directly in Everett Square. This is a fabulous…read morelocation actually one of the best for walking traffic and for drive-by visibility. However, parking is almost impossible on Broadway if you see a spot and you want some lottery or some snacks pull over and check this place out the clerks are always nice and polite. There was a young lady that helped me out super nice. This location is brand new and a spotless inside. If you're a scratcher, they have a long wooden counter inside to do your business. They have multiple TVs going at all times some of our Kino and others are just for entertainment. They have a slew of scratches there lots and lots so enjoy!! They also have a ton of snacks neatly stacked rows and rows of pretty much any picky type item you're into chips candy every snack you can imagine imagine. So I guess it's a great place to grab a scratchy and a snack. For those that are smokers, they have an excellent selection of cigarettes, papers, paraphernalia, little cigars, etc.. all in all this is a five star location, but because of the parking I have to remove one kudos and good luck in business. I believe this will become a statue in Everett Square if they keep up the good work.

I have been a long time customer of this store, about a decade and a half and seen it go through an…read moreassortment of owners. To my recollection, the store's owner is still Bangladeshi but it appears they have outside help. The clerk, an older Bangeledeshi man who made news not too long ago for being shot is actually pleasant. On the other hand, one of whom, is a portly, old white man with glasses. He is not particularly friendly. I noticed that when he gives me back my change, he hands on the counter which is rude. I use to be a cashier so I always found it rude especially if I hand my money in your hand. So, anyway I noticed an employee from next door at Continental Bakery came in. She is a older white woman. I stop in the bakery occasionally so we make small talk once in awhile. She's pleasant, so I stayed longer in the store intentionally to see if he would hand her the money on the counter. But instead, he hands her money back in her hand, while I was right there! The only difference between me and her is race? Do the math. If he feels like hand contact is unhygenic, then he would surely put the change on the counter regardless. To me, it's very rude and obviously has racial undertones. Thus, I will not be coming here in the future until he quits, fired or croaks. To some of you reading this, you may feel I am exaggerating and that's fine, but respect and courstey is a 2 way street. Anyway, as for the store itself, it's kinda small, once in awhile, the food may be expired but decent selection of food items.
