But listen to this : last time there I had something in my pocket and stuffed my wallet in the same pocket. It must have fell out in the booth. I had a tracker in it. Tracked next day to this Culvers. That morning I called to check on it. They found it and was trying to locate the owner (me) on line. I went there before they opened and they handed it to me. Full of credit cards and enough cash that I just happened to have that would have paid for a family to eat at Culvers. Not one thing or dollar missing. Thank You For being honest! Disappointing lunch, dined in & the young guy @ the register sort of got out a hello, didn't listen to my order, had to repeat it Had the fish sandwich & small onion rings Bun dry & crumbly, fish was ok but the bottom was a bit soggy, onion rings dry & not hot They don't give a knife or fork & they don't have any out to get yourself. My wife and I dropped by to get a takeout lunch. We had heard good things about Culver's. Only my wife entered, but said everyone was nice and accommodating. We took the food home to eat. I was surprised at how good the burger tasted. It was a real burger, like those I had as a kid! First time ever in a Culver's, had heard about their butter burgers but was surprised they had a jumbo shrimp dinner! Ordered the big one (10 shrimp) and it was really good! Ordered the small side salad instead of fries (which was the perfect little size) and the Cole slaw was good too! Didn't cost much more than something like a Big Mac meal and was MUCH better! The right lane was blocked off so all traffic was in the left lane. The line was not long during the time I went (early afternoon Thursday). I was overwhelmed with the menu so I ordered the Wisconsin Burger combo per friend suggestion. We went to the window to pay. I received my drink order and ticket number that they placed on the car door handle. I didn't like that because it can easily scratch the car. They cook the food right then so it takes maybe 5-15mins depending on the traffic. I love the garlic aioli sauce. I should of requested onions, lettuce and tomatoes. This is my first time trying Culver's, though I had heard about it for ages on Reddit, and it did not disappoint. After being greeted by the super friendly workers, I checked out the menu, which is massive and has everything from fried cod to burgers. It took me a long time to decide what to get but I finally landed on a Double Butter Burger meal which came out to be $10 (side note: why is life so expensive?) The burger patties are in the "smashed" style with good quality beef and very tasty. I only wish they were seasoned better. Fries were fresh and hot. "The ice cream is really the best I've had," said a friend. With an endorsement like that we needed to see for ourselves. The photo I posted doesn't capture the bevy of teenage staffers standing behind the counter doing ...... well, I don't know what. Based on the advertisement for their weekly special -- I think it was called Chocolate Éclair -- I was expecting ice cream with a variety of mix-ins, like pictured on their sign. Unless they switched orders, my weekly special looked like nothing more than vanilla with a weak swirl of chocolate syrup and some soggy pieces of ice cream cone. False advertising! So we paid for our ice cream and stood up front as directed, prominently holding up our order number. Minutes passed. Like many minutes. Finally I broached the counter. The teenage "runner" relegated to distribution neglected to see our sign; we were right there! She handed over our ice cream which at this point was partially melted. It didn't look anything like the big picture hanging above us. As with any new business, I want this place succeed. But the manager needs to set his staff straight, stress efficiency, get rid of dead weight and provide a product that matches their advertising. So this was our first time here. It's a Monday night, got there around 845pm Wait is like fast casual, so not fast food premade but not as long as a normal sit down. Took awhile to get food, but the wait wasn't horrible. Custard gets done super quick but other items took longer so be prepared to wait about 10-15 mins We got a pretzel butter burger, Wisconsin cheese melt, cheese curds, vanilla custard mixed with caramel and cheese cake, mint explosion concrete and fries Everything is sooo good! Like oh wow, that's some good good. Lol Even their root beer is good Cheese curds were a must. Also, because of our wait the supervisor(?) came out without being asked and gave us coupons for a free meal so that was a nice surprise Downsides: this place needs some management help. They had too many people working the register but when people weren't there, they were wandering around saying they had nothing to do. There were maybe 3-4 employees with nothing to do at a time while the back of house employees seemed to be overwhelmed & orders were taking a long time. There were also a good bit of customers coming in and out so that may have been unexpected for a Monday night The floors were sticky and so was the wall by the counter so kinda gross on that but I guess I'm not eating off either. I had such a great experience thanks to a super helpful blonde young man named Tucker at the register. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but he was really patient and kind while walking me through the menu. He ended up recommending the double butter burger, and it was honestly one of the best things I've had in a while. He made the whole interaction feel easy and personal -- you can tell he cares about what he does. It's not often you get service like that anymore. NIGHTMARE! We never got our food, even after waiting an hour. About 40 minutes into our wait an employee came out and was apologizing to all the tables around us for the long wait and offered custard samples in way of an apology. But then he never brought us our custards. Then customers, who had arrived a lot later than us, got their food. After waiting an hour, I went to the register to have the charge on my card reversed. But they couldn't do that either. They would only give a cash refund. There was a customer in front of us also getting a refund. And another customer behind us also getting a refund. We couldn't even leave and get food elsewhere because the drive-thru had backed up into the parking lot and created gridlock and nobody in a parking space could get out. A good fresh burger fast and a lot of variety on the menu is really unheard of, especially at a good price nowadays. This place has all of this. The menu was very customizable and it's already a sizable menu. There's just about any burger option and combination that you could ever want on the menu. No matter what you decide on is going to be good. I can't believe how fresh everything felt and how natural the burger is for a fast place. They certainly have some high quality food and if you go sit down at a restaurant and get these same items, you'd probably be around 15.00 for the burger, but it's less than that here. It's a very good value because my kid got a free ice cream too. My kid doesn't usually eat burgers but he loves the Culver burger. They always seem to be busy too, which is a good sign and the staff has always been quick but takes time to be friendly as well. My only detractor is that I know some people love crinkle cut fries. I've never once ever like them and that's all they serve there. I'm sure that's where some of the cost savings come in. I just want something with a better coating and texture but everything else has been fantastic read more

A friend of mine frequently visits Culver's and suggested that I try it because she loves it. This was my first time going, it's a little bit of a drive, so i decided that I would check it out. When I arrived, it wasn't busy, one car in the drive thru ahead of me. Let me just say that I won't be returning. My fries were hot, obviously fresh, but the actual burger was horrible. I should have taken a picture and should have returned it. That meat patty was old, over cooked and someone tried to hide the fact that it was old with a large slice of cheese. It was also cold. I love Culver's and the food at this location is always 10/10 for taste. However, customer service needs some work. It's common for my order to be incorrect at the drive through- I've had concrete mixers be totally incorrect, items left out of my bag, and one time they forgot to give me the pint of custard I ordered. However, they are always friendly when asked to make corrections, which I appreciate. Seems like a bunch of high school kids run this location. It was been awhile since I have dined at Culver's. The experience I had today will be my last. First off, the way they built the drive thru has the speaker facing traffic, so it is very difficult for you to hear the person taking order and vice versa. Additionally, the order taker was very abrupt and not helpful at all and I felt like he was in a hurry for me to order eventhough there no cars behind me. Secondly, after we pulled up to pay, he commenced to making our shakes. Normally, this would be a good thing, however in this instance it was an instance of convenience to the restaurant and not the benefit of the customer. He handed over the shakes and then slapped a stick on the mirror of my $120,000. I was not happy. He told us to pull up while they completed our order. We waited about ten minutes, give or take a minute, meanwhile our shakes melting. A young man brought the food to our car and was carrying 3 bags. He didn' t know which bags were ours so he announced the contents of each bag. I only recognized two orders and came to find out they mistakeningly made a spicey chicken instead of a regular chicken sandwich. He said they would be happy to correct my order and cook another chicken sandwich but it would take at least 5 minutes. I didn't feel like waiting around another ten minutes as I had already waited five for the shakes and ten for the meals, so I left. To top it all off, the chicken was ridiculousely thin and the bread was very light and unsubstantial (cheap). Additionally, the french fries had zero flavor and of course were cold by the time we got home. I reheated them, however that could not fix the dryness and tastelessness of them. I believe the meal's price was around $11. In total $42 for 3 people. Totally not worth the money, nor my time. If you want to stay in business I suggest: 1) Hire people who are not rude, if that was the manager or owner taking my order, God help you. 2) Salt your fries 3) Do not make the shakes and drinks before the order, bring them out with the order at the same time. 4) Increase the volume on your speaker 5) Put an actual chicken breast in your sandwich and not a 1/4" flattened excuse for a chicken. read more

Not sure why this Culver's has a lower average than others. I've seen some of the negative reviews relating to the drive-through, which I don't do; and problems with the service/staff, which I haven't experienced. I think this is as good as other Culver's in the area, enjoy the food, esp. the custard treats, and have found the staff to be polite and delivered accurate orders even when I make it a little complicated. read more

But in hopes the food would be outstanding we were fine with the wait. My husband had spicy chicken. We also had fries. The fries were cold and under cooked. They were the best part of the meal. My husband said his chicken was really dry but he was hungry and ate it anyway. My butter burger was terrible. It was char-burned on the outside and had a strange almost chemical (think liquid smoke but it was something else). It went in the trash. There was a little good news...we had a concrete mixer ice cream treat that we were going to have later in the evening for desert. Food is good, not great, but good enough for something a little different. However, be aware that they are charging more than the menu price for everything, as best as I can tell. Shakes, burgers, and kids meals are all actually more than advertised, and when pointed out to management, the response was "yeah, so. They sent us the wrong prices on the menus." They are open only a few weeks, but all tables are dirty and staff is standing around. Not off to a good start. Hopefully they will pull it together. I'd love to increase the rating. read more

Went in the Woodstock store for two Concretes. Waited in line 15 minutes, only one station taking orders. Given a number and sat down for another 20 minutes. Went back to check on our order...young man went searching and came back with the order....custard was melted. Had to get them to remake...totally unacceptable. Someone needs to manage the store...employees standing around with their arms crossed just starring at the customers. Sign on the door says they are closing the dining room at 8P due to lack of staffing. At any time we were there I could count at least 6 people standing around the counter doing nothing! Poor service, poor staff management!! My experience in other Culver's has never been this bad! read more
