I had to physically pull it myself. Unbelievable. Then... THEN... I ordered my usual: a ButterBurger with exactly three pickles. Not two. Not four. Three. And what did I receive? A burger with a RANDOM number of pickles. I counted FIVE. I'm still recovering. And don't even get me started on the custard. It was creamy. It was cold. It was delicious. Which is actually the problem -- because now I want more, and I simply don't have the time in my busy schedule of being dramatic. Also, why was everyone so nice?? I came READY to be upset, and they RUINED that by being friendly and helpful. Overall: Would I go back? ...Yes. We were in Greer to buy a new SUV and stopped in for dinner after we got the truck. I had a shrimp platter with fries and slaw and my wife had chicken tenders. The food was delicious. I've never experienced service this bad from this location until now. I usually order the burger with a gluten-free bun and have always received it packaged separately, so I know it's safe. This time, it came already assembled, which was a first. I called to check and was told it was a mistake and they'd remake it. I went to pick up the replacement, but the new burger was undercooked & actually raw on the inside. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until I was already home. For someone with dietary restrictions, consistency and care really matter, so this was disappointing. I've always spoken highly of this location, even recently left a positive review, so I really hope this was just an off day and not a new trend. Food and service - ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL at every Culver's establishment ! Congrats to the leadership and staff at every Culver's I've visited. Staff is always positive energy and have good PR and acknowledgement with customer. I find it incredible and cannot understand why other food service businesses (particularly the fast food venues), cannot mimmick the same great service as the Culver's team...!!!! There is no comparison whatsoever with other food chain anywhere that shows as much enthusiasm and energy as what I've experienced at Culver's. The only other close comparable business would be Chick-Fil-A. The other chains (fast food like McD's, BK, etc.), do not seem to strive for perfection and solid customer service - nor consistent food quality presentation. This stems from leadership down to the average staff member. Bad or careless management and poor training presents terrible employee customer service(s) and attention to detail. What I've observed is..... if the store manager/supervisor looks untidy and unprofessional -- the rest of the team follows suit. I am not a fast food frequent patron. We came here with friends after our awesome time at the waterpark. I appreciate that there is a back way to get here without having to go on busy Wade Hampton. Ordered and ate indoors. I usually always go for the North Atlantic Cod Sandwich. I hope they bring their walleye sandwich back. A few weeks ago my wife picked up food for our family. When she got home we realized they forgot my entree. I called the restaurant and they said I could come back to get it or they would mail a coupon. I chose the coupon and waited a couple of weeks. Believe me, this is a five star burger joint! My daughter and two grandsons and I enjoyed lunch here today on our way to visit the Children's Museum in Greenville, S.C. My daughter and I both tried the double cheeseburger basket and the boys had kids meals that looked delicious! She couldn't finish her's due to its size so naturally dad stepped in to help! The burger patties were cooked properly and were some of the best I've ever had! The buns were called butter buns and were a nice complement to the meal. Culver's is a very relaxing and clean place to have lunch. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices were more than reasonable. They hooked me on my first visit today! I visit Culver's every time I'm in the south and midwest. I wish they had them in Southern California. The location on Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer, South Carolina is fantastic! I ate there every day I was visiting my niece. The Butter Burgers are fantastic! The Fish & Chips (aka North Atlantic Cod Dinner) is one of the best I've had - Fresh, Crispy and cooked to perfection. The star of the show is the Custard. I tried several different flavors of Custard, had Milkshakes and enjoyed a couple of Sundaes. All of the Custard dishes are so delicious it's worth the flight just to eat there. On top of everything, the service is quick, the prices are reasonable and the staff is really kind. Wisconsin is also home to many many custard places and Culver's is no exception. I don't eat much fast food, but this is basically fast food at it's best. Great burgers and fries, delicious custard (a thicker soft serve ice cream), and you must try the fried cheese curds! The grilled chicken sandwich is a nice piece of well-trimmed white meat on a toasted bun. They also offer a variety of soups and some side veggie options. The prices are pretty normal for fast food, but the quality is definitely a step up. This was my first time at this location, and I found multiple employees to be friendly and genuinely helpful. I will never go to the Culvers in Greer SC again. The last 3 visits have been horrible. They are so crazy busy and have a staff that cannot handle it. They have messed my orders up on all 3 of these visits. It cost way too much money to not get a correct order. I just cannot see spending what I spend to get the wrong stuff. I used to use drive thru but the orders were always getting messed up. So I started going in and it was good for awhile but now it's bad too. I was a faithful every other Sunday patron . Went through the drive thru yesterday, had my drink handed to me as soon as I went to put my drink in cup holder it was leaking out on my lap. I told the lady at the drive thru. She just looked at me. I looked closer and noticed the top was not completely on the drink was filled to the top. I told her, she reached out her hand so I gave her back the drink. She put the top on, then said there you go. It is not ok, to have your drink spilled on you because of the top not being put on completely on the drink. read more

Culver's is a northern burger chain that features burgers, fries, sandwiches and frozen custard. The staff are well trained, and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. Mainly Culver's specializes in buttered buns, buttered bread and burgers cooked in butter. The food is decent if not fantastic, honestly if not for the custard this would probably be a 2 star review. I ordered the Sourdough Melt with Cheese Curds as the side. The Melt had thin hamburger patties cooked well with melted cheese in buttered sourdough bread. It was decent, not great, there are definitely better places to grab a burger. The cheese curds are good, but honestly I prefer the ones from Zaxby's. The best thing about the meal is always the frozen custard. The custard is smooth, rich and delicious. It's always the highlight of a Culver's meal, which is another reason we don't eat here a lot as I just don't need the added calories. There is nothing offensive about a meal here, but unless I'm really craving custard it would never be my first choice. read more

We moved to Greer about 6 weeks ago and I think we've eaten lunch here at least once a week. Ha!! We love it!! I love that they play a lot of Christian music too! And every member of their staff is always so friendly. The food is great.. but, honestly all we've had is cheese burgers and chicken strips and fries and LOTS of custard. Lol. Their fries are always crispy and we love that! One of my daughters is just a plain vanilla lover but me and the other daughter usually go for the flavor of the day. So far our favorite has been the Reese's caramel, peach and Andes mint!!! Oh gracious it's all been so good. We came in here for a fast bite, and I fully expected a mediocre meal. I was happily surprised by a really good burger. The meat looked and tasted like a homemade burger. It had a ton of char from the grill and was cooked a perfect medium. The bun was soft and fresh. This would be a four or five except for the salad. It was a pretty standard salad and looked good, but the dressing was pre packaged and tasted very "chemical". I will not get that again. Next time I will try the fries. arrived at the restaurant, we're waiting inside and were ignored for 5 minutes while hosts talked among themselves. when someone finally acknowledged us we were told to go back outside to give our name to a girl with an iPad. we went back outside to give our names to be added to the wait and were ignored once again as the two hosts talked amongst themselves. another girl gave her name and we were about to ask if we could be added as well and the host walked away from us and ignored us again. if you are on a wait and are taking names outside, make sure to stop people at the door before they enter and actually do your jobs. read more

By the time they did the refund for the difference in price & my plain burger was done, my fries were cold. How the kid got cheeseburger out of hamburgr, I'll never figure out. I've had Culver's back in 2007 in another location and swore I'd never eat there again. While trying to find a quick burger that was not your typical fast food options, I figured it's been long enough I'll try them out again. It's a pretty simple menu, great choices for burgers, custards and sides. When you order your food they give you a number and tell you to pull around that they'll bring it out to you. That was a little confusing bc I pulled around to the front but wasn't sure where to stop. So I circled around again and found the girl with our food, glad I drove around because I went too far lol! The burgers were so much better than before, they were big, juicy and had a great flavor and love the flavor of the buns. But don't assume they put ketchup in your burger, at least I never seem to have gotten it on mine. The fries are crinkle fries which are nice and crispy and stay crispy, so no soggy fries when you get home. My friend from Wisconsin has been telling me to go to Culver's, so yesterday I finally broke down and decided to go. One item I was looking forward to trying was the cheese curds. Curds is one of the least appetizing of words I could think of, but I assure you they taste better than they sound. Think cheese sticks, but in fun little bites and 1,000x better. They even use different types of cheese which keeps things interesting! The custard was another delicious treat. Creamy and cold; perfect for a warm Carolina Sunday. We have driven by many of times, decided to go there for Sunday lunch, I ordered the special of the day 3 shrimp code mashed potatoes and green beans and my wife ordered the chicken tenders. To our surprise the mashed potatoes where homemade and the greens beans were fresh and very flavorful. Everything all in all was very good and for less then $20. Only recommandation is to use red or yellow potatoes for their mashed potatoes but do recommand and for those with family that have to watch the game they have tv's. read more
