As a graduate of Culver Girls Academy (Class of '91), I'm pretty sure I cannot sum up the Culver experience in a Yelp review, but suffice it to say that I had a great time there, got a great education, and go back to visit as often as I can (which isn't all that often, since I live on the west coast now.) If I hadn't come to Culver, I would not be where I am now in my life. It is a life-changing experience, but it's not for every teenager. Culver is NOT where you sent your wild out-of-control kid to "straighten them up". It's where you send your kid to turn them into an adult and really prepare them for college and for life. As a student, you have to put in the effort - but the academy will return your efforts many-fold. Great faculty, gorgeous campus, great facilities, and great fellow students. read more

Daughter attended Culver for 4 years and loved every second of it. Decent academics, countless opportunities, many clubs, concerts, trips to Chicago and other places, great fraternity with teachers. Her years of dorm life taught her living and negotiating skills that will last a lifetime. She established lifelong friendships and received great help in preparing for college. She was admitted to a prestigious top-15 institution. We visited campus probably 20 times for parent's weekends, drop-offs and graduations, and we loved our time on campus visiting with the other students, the faculty and dorm staff, attending parades, honor shows, concerts, and the wonderful theater productions. We especially enjoyed attending class twice a year, and going to fall and final ball. A great life experience, not only for daughter but for my wife and I as well. We will have fond memories of Culver for the rest of our lives. read more
