I've gotten my hair cut by 4 different barbers and can say that while every barber has their own style, they all have a pretty good handle on what they are doing. I usually pay about $25 for a tapered cut and beard outline. My one issue with this barbershop would be that they never truly adhere to appointments you make. I once booked an appointment for 5pm and didn't get seated until 5:30pm. My barber was cutting someone else's hair so it wasn't a big deal, but I would keep that factor in mind if you are hoping to get somewhere right after your cut. Knowing this, I usually plan to be at the shop for an extra 30 minutes after my cut should end so that it doesn't interfere with other plans. Lastly, customer service at this barbershop is fantastic. It was really refreshing to see that all the employees remained professional because most barbershops I have been to in the past were very disorganized, had inappropriate conversations in the open, and did not always have someone available to answer phone calls or greet you as you walked in. At Marvelous Cuts, there is usually someone available at their front desk to greet you as you walk-in, check you in if you have an appointment, and let you know how far behind in line you'd be if you didn't have an appointment.

I asked a buddy of mine for a couple recommendations and he got me an appointment Shane's Master Barbering with Bass. If you don't know the area it my be confusing to find my that's why we have smartphones. There is plenty of parking whether it be on the street, the lot behind the building or the garage. You know the saying " it's not about the size of boat its the motion in the ocean". That being said don't let the small appearance store front deter you from a quality cut. Shane's location has a seating area for waiting customers, two tvs, 5 booths. All this is well and grand but if the barbers can't cut hair, it's all for nothing. THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE! My man Bass hooked me up with a pompadour hair style. I showed him a picture and he made it happen. Usually, barber are good with clippers and edgers - nothing else. Bass is a master at his craft he provided this cut by way of shears, dovo razor, in addition to the clippers and edgers. Truly making him a versatile barber. I later found out this was the first time he done this style cut and I couldn't have been more surprised based on his precise execution and styling. They have gained another loyal customer. An older cape verdean gentleman cut my hair and it was the closest cut i ever had , he made sure every single stray hair was gone from my head.
