They lost my payment and charged me a late fee, when I contacted them they told me that they found it was mixed in with some other things, and it was dated 11 days prior, then they told me that they "got permission to wave the late fees" like they where doing some kind of favor. I was moving out of my unit and let management know. They had a sink hole and we haven't been able to access our unit with a vehicle so I can finish moving it's been almost 3 months my belongings are being held hostage then I was extorted for 2 months rent to get pedestrian access to remove some of my stuff. Not an apology nor any discounted rent only bills raising rates and still no vehicle access. Guess we need to get them in court!!!! read more

When I rented in Feb 2022 the cost was $206 a month. Not even 2 years later and it is almost $400 after the latest notice of another $54 increase. That is ridiculous. That is a 100% increase in less than 2 years, and while inflation has been a little high this past couple of years, it has been nowhere near the 50% increase they have given me each year. This borders on unethical, and I honestly don't know how they can live with themselves when the everyday person is struggling to make ends meet. I moved out today (12/17/23) after this latest $54 increase (from $340 to $394). Unconscionable. read more

Definitely not recommended. Their climate controlled area is a retrofitted warehouse of some sort. They upped my rent for a 10 x 15 to $256, while offering the same unit (with the first month free) online for $178.50. read more

Employees are friendly, renting the unit only took about 20 minutes, prices are similar to other units in the area, and the facility is clean and easy to navigate. I'd defs recommend this place. We've been renting a unit here for 6 months with no complaints and unless you're like one of the yelpers that didn't pay their rent and then left a bad review for being kicked out (c'mon, guys. Ok, complete transparency - I am leaving on good, if not great, terms with this place but I feel like people should know all angles. I moved my stuff into my in laws basement - I did not move to another company. I just could no longer justify the cost when I had family in the area willing to let me store for nothing. I had a 5x10 outside, non-climate controlled unit for an original price of $35 or $40 a month, at the end I believe my unit was $48 or $50 a month plus the renters insurance for $12 (no increase) from Feb 2015 to Jul 2016. This type of rent increase on special introductory rates is common in the storage industry - happened in Tx with ExtraSpace Storage too. I've been storing for 10 years across 4 states with three different companies. The employees here past and present have been phenomenal. There was one or two change overs a few months ago - Angie left, I do not know if they still employ the girl who worked Angie's off days, but the man who took over (sorry I dont recall the name) is extremely knowledgable and friendly just like Angie. They'll explain market trends if you're trying to upgrade or downgrade or understand the pricing. They will go above and beyond to find out information from the Post Office if your packages are getting returned to sender. They are there when the hours say they're open (my apartment complex closes early randomly with no notes or notice so this is rather important when you're trying to make it by after work). I usually stopped by once every week or alternate week. The only trouble I ever had was last year when the field next to them was turned into a bus maintenance terminal - they got infested with field mice. I happened to have been out of town for a month when this occurred. It damaged quite a few of my cardboard boxes and contents before they got it under control. It took them at least a month to get exterminators out and traps set. I had most of my stuff in plastic bins already because I was worried about bugs (Ive used storage units for a long time) so minimal damage to those but the mice still peed and pooped on them as well as my furniture and ate the dozen cardboard boxes and made nests in them. The smell was grotesque. I bought allergy rated bed covers and cleaned then covered the furniture but the boxes where they had nested and eaten cardboard away all had to be disposed of along with most of their content. The location manager at the time was very nice and let me use the truck for a few hours to pull all my stuff out and clean in back. I found half a mouse while doing so. After that deep clean, spraying of my own mouse repellant, and covering all other items - it was less of a problem - Id only find a few droppings on the floor. Then after a few months it was completely stopped. I was not given any discount for the time I invested cleaning my unit - I realize the contract says they aren't liable for damage but just referring me to the insurance is in bad taste. I also shudder to think what the units next to me looked like. I saw several people do the same clean out to the back of their units during these months - I can only assume for the same reason. The location is kept really clean considering its off the highway - I never see garbage or spills. They keep the dumpster locked but will sometimes let you use it if you ask. They had an electrician come out to fix the lights inside the units when the wiring went bad. Its kept well lit and is quite secure if you don't let anyone follow you in. I had one person attempt to enter when I left because they'd been locked out (reason unknown but they told me theyd lost their code) but I waited for them to leave. The inside gate is kept closed and the outside gate closes at 10pm but you can exit. I felt safe cleaning until after midnight the one time I had to deep clean. Fair pricing. Clean place. Good security. Very friendly and knowledgable employees. Just prepare for the worst when storing your items by packing correctly or covering stuff and you'll be fine anywhere! I wish I could give this business less than zero stars. We were forced out of our home and job October of 2015. We rented two 10 x 20 units. My wife rented one unit under her name at the beginning of the month. The manager at the time was very friendly and helpful. We had decided to go with them originally because they offered the first month of rent free. They were a little bit more per month than some of their competition but we didn't have much cash and they were so friendly, we were confident we had made the right decision. After moving stuff into the first unit for about a week, we filled it up, requiring me to make another visit to their office to rent another 10 x 20. This one was rented under my name. We had so much crap we filled both units. The next few months went by relatively problem free. I hadn't found employment or permanent residence yet but we were getting by from the selling of our stuff to pay rent (a single room at a friend's house) and storage of the rest. If we ever needed anything, they were usually friendly and happy to help. The manager left cubesmart to work at a different storage facility. A nice gentleman was hired in her place. He was just as helpful as his predecessor, until I started to fall behind on my payments. I had sold enough to almost completely empty one unit. I was unable to continue payments on both and informed them of my situation. I combined the storage units with a couple of nice bookshelves and a really expensive photocopy machine left over. I left them in the storage unit as thanks for helping me out. I thought they could sell the items to recoup some of the lost rent. I made another visit to the office approximately 10 days later to make sure everything was buttoned up, only to find out they had put their own lock on the mostly emptied unit because I had "forgotten" to put my lock back on. I tried to remind them of our previous conversation but that didn't matter. I was charged for their lock and was still responsible for that fee even after I signed over responsibility and gave back their keys that were in my possession for 10 minutes. read more
