While Racine station is probably fine in the summer time, it's hellish in the winter. As mentioned in the previous review, it's an open platform. They need to add more of the heat lamps because there aren't enough with the number of people at that station in the morning.
Wait at the top until you're train is closer since the building provides more shelter. In the building, there are only two machines to reload and a screen to tell you what train is close.
Sometimes the machines where you swipe to get in can be a bit finicky, so try a couple of times before you check your balance. read more
