It's essentially across from Moonbeam Cafe. The store was neat and clean and the guy behind the desk helped me immediately find what I was looking for, and wasn't pushy or abrasive as I decided to browse afterwards. They sell everything from menorah candles (at least I think they were menorah candles...) to much more unique things (wtf is male garlic?!) Plus, you can get a metric buttload of incense for like $3 in case you're into that sort of thing. Paid with VISA no problem, and they were playing soca, so that's a plus :D Kudos and thanks for being so helpful!

The place sells a number of gemstones, crystals and new age wellness and lifestyle items including salt lamps, tarot and oracle cards, gemstone jewelry, loose chaga tea, books and more. The shop is family owned and managed and they all participate in community events as well as host workshops after hours in the store. I attended a tarot workshop recently. I feel the rocks in their shop can have a special energy. Recently I purchased one of the amethyst crystals they brought back from a trip to Mexico and I adore it for its beauty and good energy. Some of my favourite pieces ate from this shop. I have also purchased many gifts for family members. Really all good things to say about House of Energy!

I feel like this was a rather shady business practice, when I asked why the price was lower they said they were splitting the price they pay for the 5g bar, because for some reason they don't have 2.5 grams bars listed. The 5 gram was 957, divided by 2 for 483, however the 1g at 197 multiplied by 2.5 is 492. If this business was honest, the price I would have received would have been somewhere in the middle. However this company seems to be doing the most to pay you the least. Be careful when dealing with this company.

Even from the outside, the exterior is beautifully decorated and has warm and inviting vibe mixed with public art. Their impressive selection of rocks, gems and crystals are organized by color. Someone has put a LOT of care into the curation and aesthetic of the store. I purchased a beautiful sodalite bracelet, a few different books, and a really special oracle deck I've never seen before. I think so fondly of this store when it pops into my mind, and if I were local, I'd attend their classes, visit for readings, and shop here regularly for high-quality gifts and spiritual needs.
