Under new management. I left my car in for an MOT and service. They did the service but not the MOT. I returned the car and challenged an item on the 'service' bill for 'sundries' £18.00. They returned this as they did not have an adequate explanation for it. I also suspect that there has been a hefty mark up on some parts, eg. 2 wiper blades £32.00. Absolutely excellent service and value for money. I have taken my car to this garage for over 7 years throughout Medical School and after qualification. They are consistently honest, friendly and deliver superb quality of workmanship. I recommended the company to my husband, who now also refuses take his car elsewhere. Mike (the owner) is courteous, very knowledgeable and his team are thorough and accommodating. I would unreservedly recommend this garage to my closest friends and family. Although it is well located (close to the centre of Cardiff, but not prohibitively so), I would go to great lengths to return to them even if I lived far away from the City. Friendly, helpful, honest backstreet garage - they won't overcharge you or do unnecessary work on your car. If you have an older car they will source cheaper parts for you to keep the cost of repairs down. Only marked down slightly because they don't open very early or stay late, so it makes it a bit trickier to take your car there if you are working. However, they are well worth a try as an alternative to some of the rip-off merchants out there. read more
