Once we finished the first project, I noticed how creative and unique their portfolios was. We set up an outdoor and in-office for more images for my website. I was also able to purchase some of their stock images for use on my website and they look incredible! I love the artistic feel and beautiful plant filled space. My partner and I were drawn to Vivian for her prior experience working with the venue and our…read morewedding planner, and, most importantly, her vision. We were given curated referrals for a photographer from both the venue, Mister Jiu's, and our wedding planner, and something about Vivian's photos struck us as both intimate and purposeful, naturally capturing the best moments in her subjects and the moment. Vivian has a terrific eye for capturing everything from the planned and choreographed to the spontaneous. Many of our photos were taken at the venue and the surrounding area of San Francisco's Chinatown before and during our dinner celebration. We were always in good hands, experimenting with different poses, cameras, and film to achieve a varied look, which, upon reflection, my wife and I were so glad Vivian took the time to do everything she did. We also appreciated her ability to switch gears from serious to witty, perfectly capturing every moment our surroundings or guests placed us in. And importantly, Vivian captured every important moment, framing our loved ones and us perfectly, even when we didn't know she was doing so. Vivian always made us feel welcomed, was always kind, and appreciated the love and joy perfectly captured in our photos that day. Thank you, Vivian, for being there with us on our special day!

This review is long delayed as our wedding was in October 2025 and engagement photos in April 2025…read morebut looking back at the pictures captured by Vivian brings back so much good memories! Viv was immediately our first choice because she has an incredible portfolio of photographing in redwoods and nature which is sometimes very difficult to photograph with the different lighting. We are a bit awkward but from the get go, she was easy to talk to and was also organized. Our wedding was on the casual side so we did not have a planner but Viv was on top of everything and even though we had a day of coordinator, Viv was the one coordinating when it was her time and took lead which was much needed to wrangle everyone. The wedding was a tiny bit chaotic, running behind and rather short but Viv did a fantastic job capturing candid moments and making sure to pull us away for portrait photos away from everyone else before the wedding ended. She was professional and there wasn't a moment where I thought she was distracted. Her work speaks for itself but I really love that she shoots in multiple formats and captures the light and nature around the subjects so clearly and naturally. I often wish our wedding was slightly longer or not running behind because that would have given Viv even more time to take amazing pictures! We really enjoyed having Viv as our photography and thankful for the memories she has captured for us.

He was able to accommodate our four legged family members as well which was very important to us. Once again, he did an amazing job and we can't wait to work with him in the future. We highly recommend his service. **Something we just learned was that all of our family photos came with a "unedited" watermark unlike wedding and event photos. You are allotted 10 photos to have edited (included w. your fee) but every additional photo will have to be edited and comes with an additional cost. For example if you have 30 photos altogether, you picked your top ten you'd like to have edited and want the other 20 for your photo album, you will have to pay for those photos without the watermark. We still recommend his services but it could turn into a $1000 expense if you like all of your photos like we did.

On the day of our wedding, Eric showed up early and was extremely professional. His talent and vision were clear right away. My husband and I aren't the most experienced when it comes to posing, but Eric guided us through everything so naturally. One of the best parts? The turnaround time. He sent us a sneak peek of the photos just a few hours after the shoot -- and they already looked amazing! By the next day, he sent over all the unedited photos so we could choose our favorites. The final edits came back in just a week, and you could tell he put a lot of time and effort into each image. She was flexible, kind, friendly, and just has the most wonderful personality. She was also great with our kids. She knew how to make them feel comfortable, let them be themselves, and somehow captured all of those sweet, genuine moments that we will treasure forever. San Francisco is such a special place for my husband and me. Coming back with our kids now that we've settled down in Southern California felt incredibly meaningful. We wanted them to experience the city we love and create some special memories of their own. There is just something so magical about San Francisco, especially the Golden Gate Bridge, and I'm so grateful we now have these beautiful photos to remember the city. And of course, Karl the Fog decided to join us and somehow made the photos even more magical! We make it a tradition to take family photos every year but we don't always find a photographer who is good. This time, I feel SO lucky that we found Jasmine. We narrowed it down based on aesthetic and style, then interviewed our top picks. Jasmine stood out from the very first call. Talking to her felt like catching up with someone we'd known for a long time: warm, easy going, zero pretense. We were sold almost immediately. On shoot day, she showed up ready. Small stature, big presence with her camera, belt clip, and a little step stool that ended up being the MVP of the session. She moved us through two hours like a well-organized heist. We hit every great photo spot before the other couples and photographers could get there, shot what felt like 500+ photos, and somehow ended up with clean frames in a building that's constantly crawling with people. The organization alone was worth it. Her directions were clear, her energy was calm and confident the whole time, and the final photos delivered on everything we hoped for. Best wedding photography decision we made. Easy 5 stars. She's the second-best decision you'll make that day, second only to actually marrying your best friend, of course!
