Honestly had no idea World of Beer was still around -- but I am so glad this location is!…read more We stumbled upon WOB WPB through a quick Yelp search while hunting for a happy hour spot before the Pitbull concert just down the street at the iThink Amphitheater, and it turned out to be the perfect find. This location is massive -- a huge, impressive venue complete with two golf simulators and plenty of TVs for catching all the sporting events. Whether you're stopping in for a quick happy hour or settling in for a full evening, there's plenty to keep you entertained. Happy hour did not disappoint. I went with the Fat Tire draft for $6, and my bestie and I shared the beer cheese nachos (we added chili for a little extra protein -- no regrets) and the pretzel. The nachos hit the spot, and the pretzel was hot, soft, and perfectly salted, with mustard and cheese dipping sauces that took it over the top. Everything came out fast, hot, and delicious. Cold beer, great bites, good company -- exactly what you want before a concert. Our server Celestial was a total standout -- attentive, bubbly, and genuinely took great care of us from start to finish. She's the kind of server who makes you want to come back. WOB also boasts an impressive beer-on-tap selection, and the food is elevated bar fare done right. It's not your average bar menu, and that's a very good thing. Now that I know this spot exists, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Didn't look lavender as the picture and it tasted just okay. For my entree I decided on the chicken and waffles. The chicken breasts were tiny. We ordered a round of orange tea shots for a bday toasts. It tasted just like green tea shots with maybe a hint of citrus.

I googled and chose because it's even proximity to us both. When I arrived I didn't see the place immediately as I had always approached from the opposite cross street and direction. When I found it tucked away I immediately recognized it. Inside is smallish with only a few chairs and couches resulting in a quiet balance of privacy and elegance. The humidor was almost as big as the seating area and offered a great selection of cigars, with an impressive stock of Nicaraguan brands and the usual brands you find everywhere. Pricing was in par with most good cigar shops. Drinks are available and the selection was surprisingly good. For those that enjoy a good coffee with a cigar, they have you covered. The aroma of the humidor was great. The staff are super friendly and will be glad to talk shop. I arrived less than an hour before closing time. The tobacconist saw the cougar I had purchases and asked if he should cut and light it for me. He then asked if I'd be starting to enjoy it. I said yes and he very politely pointed out the operating hours in a way that did not deter me from starting. He was a gentleman. In fact I stayed until closing and respectfully let the man go home as any gentleman should. They offer locker memberships at a very attractive rate with monthly selection deposits of 5 cigars. The lockers are temperature and humidity controlled. Overall this is a great place to relax and chat.

Quick summary: Food = 5 stars, Service = 3 stars…read more I went to lunch with some friends, and everyone enjoyed their meals. We shared an order of delicious lobster deviled eggs. What's not to love with this flavor combo? Three people had salads including the Healthy Nut Salad, the Chopped Salad with Chicken, and the Necane Chicken Salad. Each of these included an interesting and tasty mix of greens, nuts, fruits, veggies and a delicious citronelle dressing. The portion sizes were large and the salads were quite filling. The only concern was that the piece of chicken on the Healthy Nut Salad was somewhat dry and did not have much seasoning. When cut and mixed in with the other salad ingredients and dressing, it was ok. I had the turkey melt sandwich, which included a fabulous blueberry chutney and melted cheese on a tasty toasted "rustic" bread. It came with a large quantity of oh-so-edible french fries. One person had the ahi tuna poke, which was as delicious as it looked. Such a nicely stacked presentation! It included quinoa, cucumber, mango, avocado, tomatoes and onions. The service was a bit lacking throughout our meal. We did not consistently receive refills on our water in a timely fashion, and we had to go searching for our server to bring us our check. Would I go back? Absolutely! The lunch menu had a wide variety of options including a large range of interesting appetizers, salads, flatbread pizzas, tacos pastas and larger entrees. Probably not the best place to go if you are in a hurry though. Instead, plan to enjoy a delicious leisurely lunch.

We requested a booth near the back and they made it happen. The servers were equally as helpful and friendly. We had the $45/person fixed special and the food was amazing and plentiful. There was no way we could eat everything on our plates. The turkey meat was arguably the most moist I've ever had. We were blown away by how delicious everything was. This was our first trip there and definitely not our last.
