Over the years, I've been to many churches across California, and this is one of my favorites (if not THE favorite). Let me count the ways: ================== * They are very welcoming. You can feel the love. * Responsible and applicable teaching. * Family: perfect for your little ones. If not seated with you in the main sanctuary, they have many classes and small groups for children. * Local and international focus. * The main sanctuary is totally pro. Huge and wide stage, and the utmost professional sound and lighting. * The seats are comfortable. * I've been maybe 10-12 times. I've seen the lead pastor about 4 times. The others, a senior or associate pastor, each different. Rare. They share the light, and this is good so that a church is not so dependent. Normally, if the main pastor leaves, the church attendance goes way down. I don't see that happening here. * Each service is different and special with performance or a unique speaker. * Tons of groups, tons of activities: a benefit for attending a large church. * Parking can be crazy busy, but it's well organized with helpful volunteers to have you navigate. Bottom-line, if you are looking for a church that you get great teaching along with a show (music and performance), a church you can join a group and get involved, I encourage you to check this wonderful church out.

This church is truly my home and I love the small community, you feel at home and you feel like you belong. We have a wonderful fun children's ministry, I've been apart of the team since it was implemented and I work with wonderful women and amazing kids. I also love our time of worship, it's nothing fancy but it's real. We may be a small church but we also do a lot of family oriented events! Fall and winter are my favorite because we do so many great things during that time. We created Thanksfest to focus on thanksgiving and celebrating a time of thankfulness. We do multiple events for Christmas too that are lots of fun! We have parties, concerts, Christmas Eve services and sometimes more. Check us out!

This place has become a home away from home for me. UPDATE: The Saturday ministry left, CHAZON is no more, and that was not cool. Its unfortunate that after trying to support them as best as I could, that was not enough. This was the first place of worship where I felt welcome in many years. In the end though, the message became canned, and the spirit became lower cased, if you catch my meaning. Shavua Tov.

I will suggest reviewing the Antioch web page for details regarding services etc. What I missed over many decades was a church that not only supports Discipleship by offering biblical education on our duty as Christians, but provides all the opportunity to serve hear at home. Rather than Sunday School Bible stuby format Antioch supports smaller weekly group study in the homes of leaders and members. My small group enjoys our monthly Laundry Love support night at a local laundromat. We self fund and provide quarters for all who show at our monthly event. We believe the best way to serve is by Love and being the example. If asked we willingly answer questions, but avoid preaching. We show love through supporting a nonjudgmental atmosphere. In fact our night of service changes the typical laundromat experience into a neighborhood event with friends, much like a laundry party. Every church is unique and no church perfect... Yet! But I found genuine love and support in my hour of need and believe others will find the same from the membership. We do our best to create a very relaxed environment for enjoying worshiping. As an Usher, I hope to be the first to welcome you! If Antioch doesn't fit your needs, I pray you continue your search as there is no greater experience than having a Loving Church Family. In His Love, S. Coe
