Situated on the edge of the river Humber a few miles from Spurn point this local pub is ideal for walkers and bird watchers, the views across the river watching the shipping going up and down the river will keep you entertained all day.
The food of late is usually good but on occasions I have been disappointed I would be better if the home made meals were actually home made and not bought from food wholesalers.
Don't expect to order anything not on the menu because if you do you will be met with a torrent of reasons as to why it is not possible to have something not on the menu even though there are the items on the menu that could be made into the particular dish. !!!!!
They stop serving food at 2.00 pm so don't expect to walk in at 2.01 and place an order because you will be meet with a similar range of reasons why this cannot be done. !!!
Unless of course you happen to get the landlady on a day she isn't feeling that way inclined and she will be most accommodating but on your head be it if you get the wrong day.
By the way if there any secret sign and notice spotters out there they will be in their element because I found 100,000 signs with do's and don't on them !!!!
